I seem to have a problem with my gps. Even on high accuracy Google maps only shows the big circle where my location could be. Is there a fix for this? Using the latest dot os version with magisk 18.1 and schwiftkernel v5.

I think that's a problem on most custom ROMs. My GPS also has some quirks, but after modding my GPS.conf file, it's been a bit better. Anyways, if you want me to check it out real quick for ya, go ahead and download "GPS test" on the app store and let it run for a minute or two. Then screenshot it and let me see. This is what mine currently looks like (w/ default LOS-based kernel).

I don't seem to be able to get a fix at all. Maps show a decently accurate location but no gps fix.

Screenshot after about 5 minutes on my desk next to a window.

Alright, well at least that confirms that it isn't a hardware related issue. Now, go ahead and download "TopNTP" on the Play store and give it root access. Then flash a new gps.conf with these settings: "Global, Derek Gordon, Generic, Google". This should be the default setting, but just in case it isn't. Then press install and reboot (it's okay if it hangs for a bit, just wait it out and let it do its thing). Now, go outside into an open area (can be a park, open field, empty parking lot, etc.) DURING THE DAY (I have no idea why, but I have worse luck getting an initial lock doing it at night) and turn off your wifi but make sure your data is on. Then open up the GPS test app again and let it run. I get instant lock-ons in open areas with these settings, but it might take a while if it's the first time after changing the gps.conf file. Lmk how that goes.

P.S: Make sure that you're not using your GPS in extremely tall buildings or surrounded by extremely tall buildings. Any GPS would have trouble getting a lock in those conditions.

Dolby works. But this ROM sometimes reboot, then doesn't boot, need to wipe cache,on boot sound is lost ,need to reboot again to make it work.or ui hangs and reboot again. Sim problems, signal problems.so many problems. This ROM need updates, but developing is slow as fk

If it is a problem develop a ROM yourself. Quit going around complaining to everyone in every thread, deal with what you get because you are lucky you get anything at all. We devs put our own spare time in to this stuff and its people like who who ruin it. So if you dont have anything better to say then dont speak at all.
