I am running it now and it seems everything is working well, rotation also.

Which version of mordiford are you running? I'm just trying the latest version (181103) and the auto rotate isn't working, also when the screen timeouts the brightness flickers. It's this the same for you?

When you say firmware files, you mean flash latest miui EU rom? If so, then yes I did. Or are there firmware only files to be found somewhere? Do I flash them with the aicp rom? Thanks

all running smoothly, many thanks. can't seem to get double tap to wake running though, should it be enabled by default or must i do something? i can't find anything in settings.

I have been running the MK81.0-clover-201808300135_UNOFFICIAL version for a few months. Can I just download the latest version and flash it in TWRP and it will keep all my data?

Autorotate and gyro not working

Can somebody help? Autorotate and gyros are not working for me.

I flashed the system firmware above and nothing. (Tried latest and the version the person above would have used.)
Even flashed MIUI version recommended in the first thread first, with no success.

I'm using 3GB non-4G

My amateur attempt following the 360 wait time found a number of variations of Gapps to use, would the Mokee dev recommend
using the most recent Gapps zip " open_gapps-arm-8.1-nano-20180414.zip " today to go with the christmas day nightly release, MK81.0-clover-201812250037-NIGHTLY.zip
or MindTheGapps-9.0.0-arm64-20180809_192137.zip
...should it matter?
