• If you are experiencing issues logging in, we moved to a new and more secure software and older account passwords were not able to be migrated. We recommend trying to reset your password, then contacting us if there are issues.
  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. We still would love to hear feedback over at this thread and also check out the new XDA app! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new forums, and thanks for your support of XDA <3

Code:
/*
 * I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
 * Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!
 * YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 * Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
 * Same statement for XDA.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Question about cross flashing vendor and firmware.
I have the EU version and it came with MIUI EU 10.3.1.0.
Then I flashed xiaomi.eu 10.3.16.0 which flashes AFAIK firmware and vendor, but not persist partition. I still have band 20 LTE.
Is this OK as base for LOS?

Wow!!!!
Finally a stable ROM that is so close to stock in terms of stability. Now I don't have to use miui ever again :angel: :D
Thank you dev for your awesome work.:good: :good:
P.S. I have the Chinese k20pro. However, I flashed Indian ROM in fastboot method a few days ago. Wanted to test whether this ROM works with Indian vendor or not. And it is working flawlessly.

I tested with xiaomi.eu 10.3.17 as base.
Steps I did :
Format data , reboot to recovery, flash los, reboot to recovery , flash gapps,magisk
