Can you try building Quartz ROM from PA team by using Abhishek's trees and sources? Ofcourse with his permissions.

---------- Post added at 06:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:44 PM ----------

Hi,
I woke up today and for some reason the pop up camera on my device will not retract. I tried a msgisk module to retract on boot but it doesn't work, as well as flashing new firmware and dirty flashing Lineage, however none of it works. The camera itself works, it just won't retract. How do I fix it?

Do you still have this problem or you solved it? If yes, can you tell us how?

You might want to try removing any modules from anx camera and see if it works.

Installing Gapps causes bootloop

when I try to install gapps right after installing lineage 16 I stuck in a bootloop, and after a while it takes me back to twrp! tried pico, nano, wipe cache, searching with no luck :/

Same here.. working without Gapps .. none of the gapps are working.. did u find some solution?
No unfortunately, I decided to install pixel experience rom instead for now :/

Try to boot the rom without gapps first. After that reboot into recovery and flash gapps. I had the same problem with paranoid and did it like that.
I tried this didn't work.
I also tried installing LAO > wipe dalvik > reboot to recovery > install gapps > wipe dalvik > reboot to system
didn't work
and many other combinations, I tried without deleting the dalvik, I tried to wipe "Data, system, cache, dalvik" and then install new chinese rom and the format data, same thing.

I tried to wipe data, cache, dalvik after installing the LAO, also the same, keep in mind this is only when I install gapps, otherwise it works fine.

versions I tried "mindthegapps", open gapps, pico gappps, nano gapps

The only thing left I didn't try and I was tired to try is, changing the TWRP to something called mountiro twrp or something like that... but for now I'm happy-ish with pixel experience

I don't think it will work for a very long time on any custom rom. I've had many discussions with developers on telegram regarding vo WiFi calling on custom ROMs but it doesn't seem to be any priority.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
