Good evening guys, I just installed this room on my LG G4 H815, initially I had Lag problems, now instead it's going very fluid. I only have one question. 1, the firmware is okay not to have it updated to the V29, but still stay with the MM ? 2, the room I find a little slow, are there solutions? (THANK you to the developer for surviving one of the latest tops with removable battery!)
1. It's better to have the 29a firmware.
2. What do you mean by the ROM being slow?

Try the 25 build and let me know if that helps

They are UsU compatible. I think the h811 build installs on the H812.
Maybe someone can verify which goes on whicg
That's explained in the UsU thread.
Compatible with UsU means an UsU build which does not exists for this ROM . Ofc UsU users can nevertheless flash this ROM when they read and understand the UsU thread and FAQs and follow them

So does it mean that H811 rom can be flashed on H812???
I am confused.
Yes, I have read UsU thread but that doesn't say that H811 rom can be flashed on H812

Download yesterday's build.
The 18 build was a test build to verify i had fixed the soft reboots due to GPS, which I have. Unfortunately I was also messing with governors and it was setting Performance on both little and big cores.
The 25 build is back to normal and has speakerphone fixed as a bonus :)
25 build flashed. Battery drain is still too much high. Furthermore, just like the 18 build, we have a new flicker grafic bug, when trying to scroll the page up or down everywhere, both in apps than in quick settings etc.

Battery drain on the first 48h or 2 charge cycles is totally normal after a new ROM flash . There is a lot of optimizations running in the background first.

So far using with the Firmware MM I have no problems, but still recommend a guide to flash the v29a (I have the bootloader unlocked).
Sorry, I wanted to write that the camera is a little slow, in loading especially .
ROM, on the other hand, is currently very fluid. Anyway on the weekend updated with the last available, THANK YOU so much for all this !

@aoleary Do you maybe have somewhere file with V29 modem? I am looking for it for like an hour, and the one I have found isn't installing. It showed that file is corrupted.
BTW do you think missing the correct modem could occur problems with LTE missing?
Since version 25.10 and 29.10 my LTE doesn't activate.

I have v29a and LTE is not activated SUPPOSEDLY.
I sa supposedly because I made a test with another phone and I get the same data speed in another phone that shows LTE, so it must be a launcher issue that does not show LTE and H+ correctly.
And from my point of view I don't see any difference between v20p and v29a (just bear in mind that it's really easy to brick your phone in case you want to downgrade to v20p later), but you can download v29a modem from here (you can only flash this if you already have v20p) ¡¡only h815 compatible¡¡

AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended

I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

-Base Of the ROM & Version?
->Rom is based on AOSP.

-Why no "Incremental updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

-Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
->Yes, full Substratum support!

-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.

-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
->Provide full info about your problem with logcats and the procedure to reproduce it.
->How to take Logcats?

AospExtended, ROM for the LG G4

Contributors
Special thanks to steadfasterX who fixed RIL and a whole load of other stuff, and Pie would not be possible without him..
Thanks to kessaras, who flew the flag for the G4 for so long and did most of the initial heavy lifting
And, finally, thanks to WiZaRd981. We went through some **** to get Pie on the G4, and we finally did it..

Big update coming soon

Hi guys,
I've been working on AEX for the last 2 weeks adding all the commits to the kernel and g4-common that @kessaras and @steadfasterX have added that have done magic with the battery and stability of our device. Seriously, they have done a crazy amount of work. Read the LOS or AOSCP threads to get an idea of the improvements they have made..

I've been also adding some UI related commits, which should improve the UI speed and usability even more..

I using all this week to test Ambient Display, as it was a bit buggy in the last July build..

I'm also removing QCview from the prebuilt apps and changing the default GCam installed with the ROM..

So, look forward to a release hopefully early next week.. I would prefer to release next week to be sure to have the time to test Ambient Display properly..

Stay tuned guys :)

May Security Patch integrated

Builds are up with latest May security Patch.
Still version 6.5. Version 6.6 should be out in about a weeks time..

Hi all,
I've been on holidays for the last 3 weeks.
I'll be back working on bringing AEX up to date from Monday..
7
Aex 6.7 finally!!!! :)

Hi guys,

thanks for being so patient. I'm happy to announce the release of AEX 6.7.

This change includes all the kernel fixes by @kessaras, and numerous other commits in the g4 common tree.
It also includes all the RIL improvements made by @steadfasterX including loads of other stuff in the common tree.

On my side, I have added a few commits that reduces the UI overhead and really makes AEX fly..

Some points I need to make:
1. So, so sorry. I still haven't fixed the speaker issue on voice calls. Basically if you put the loudspeaker on during a call the microphone doesnt work..
2. Ambient Display is available in Settings >>Display > Ambient Display..
It has Always on Display options, but for me that results in a kernel crash, but not for some others, so activate if you are willing to take the chance.
All the other Ambient Display options in Advanced Settings are totally safe..
3. I removed Livedisplay as I prefer the stock "night mode"
4. I removed QCView as I didnt like that it cluttered the notification area and for me it wasnt coexisting well as a prebuilt app anymore.
I think its totally safe to flash after, but I dont think it was a good idea as a prebuilt option
5. The boot up light is now pink, like on LOS16. It flashes on and off pink during the bootup phase..
6. I have updated the GCam to San1ty F1v9.5_6.2.030
Taken from here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-suggested/
Configuration guide here: https://xdaforums.com/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/themes/port-google-camera-mod-san1ty-t3924349

If you move apps into system, you will cause a bootloop. Its not an AEX bug!!
Its a new security functionality introduced by Google...
Read more here: https://source.android.com/devices/tech/config/perms-whitelist

Clean flash OBLIGATORY!!
That means in TWRP go to Wipe >> Advanced Wipe and choose:
Dalvik / ART Cache
System
Data
Cache

DO NOT wipe Internal Storage :D

If you find any issues and want to report a bug, its logcat or GTFO. Seriously, if you cant be bothered to provide a log, then....
Use SFXs guide here: http://bit.do/logcat —> option "specific issue"

Downloads links are in the OP. I do not have any md5sum's as the free trial of my last Google Cloud VM timed out literally just after uploading the two last builds :)
