Thank you very much for your comments Spaceoid and PislickB3. For possible future issues with that I'll save the hints PislickB3 gave in his or her comment though in this case it turned out to be caused purely by a bug in the app I was using.

@PislickB3 Unfortunately I can't help with that apart from that browsers should be able to use Widewine DRM and possibly also Kodi (at least it does on Windows and Linux).

I have successfully flashed with additional gapps and su. (with twrp)

After that I flashed again without gapps. After the reboot there is the lineage logo with a bow and a moving point. And then there is no change. The boot process is hanging.

I can only reboot with power+volume up. Booting in fastboot is not possible, I assume that I must activate dev mode, but lineage is not booting completely. So I cannot activate dev mode ...

Has someone an idea what I can do? It seems I have the xperia x bricked. :-(

you can still shutdown the device and later boot into recovery or fastboot mode
keep pressing power + volume up until you hear the device vibrating 3 times.

at this point it's shut down and you can use power + volume down combination to boot into recovery

to start twrp for flashing lineage. So there is no recovery. Power and Vol down starts only the incomplete boot of lineage os.

I can not enter fastboot mode: Lineage OS is flashed on the device. The dev mode is not activated and I can not boot Lineage to activate the dev mode. Without dev mode fastboot is not possible, I think.

Flashing and updating

LineageOS clean install:​

So I've wipe all my phone then installed your Lineage Os 16, without Gapps or with ****ty Gapps ( that's immediatly made hot the processor Lol ! ) the GPS don't work !
Why did you write that it was working ? Is my device broken ?

If you search the thread for the keyword "GPS" you will notice that this ROM has suffered from GPS problems for a long time. It might be that your GPS not working is not because of missing Gapps, but because of general ROM issues.
This ROM is based on a newer kernel version than stock, and that kernel sadly never got completely debugged; it has built-in GPS issues, which is why most ROMs for the X Compact that are based on Android versions newer than 8 will have GPS problems "by design".

On the aliexpress website where I've bought my refurbished xperia X, it's wrote that the GPS work with AGPS and GLONASS ( only ), glonass is a russian... ( I am in France )
So I've installed a freeware for glonass localisation "Status GNSS", and some satellites was detected ( only with the sim inserted ), some russian satellites and one US satellite... but it can't detect my position yet ( so strange to detect satellites and no location anyway ???? ).
Tomorow I'm going to try it on my bicycle.
But I don't understand that's not logical.

I know I was using a different device back then (Xperia X Compact), but in the end it was the same ROM developer and the phones are, from a chip perspective, very similar. The issue you mentioned is exactly the issue I had with the phone, too. Lots of satellites in sight, but no GPS lock, or no GPS lock without waiting for 20 mins.

There is the open source app GPSTest that you guys could use as a help to see what's going on.
I never tried GPS on this device without a simcard being inserted in case that could play a role. Idk.
