I've revived my G2014 (latest unoff.build, no gapps, root by magisk) and after some efforts to make system accept sdcard as merged memory, I'm surprised that Pie runs on this old hardware., slowly but without crashes.
2 irreproducible bugs:
- After airplane mode, my wifi can't be found sometimes, other routers are listed. Reboot necessary.
- After some reboots, all contacts are gone.
Did anyone else notice that?

As for wifi, this has happened a few times even without using airplane mode! But contacts no, that never happened to me.

I tried the latest build, but every time I reboot it takes a lot of time to boot. Is it normal?
I don't remember it taking so long to boot the last time I tried the Renan's build.

@mini2015: maybe we both messed up anything :) My device is gone into the box again, for emergency cases. But I found the contacts-delete-bug later mentioned for another device - if it's important for you, do some Google-searchwork.

Dead link to ps_minky16's builds

Unfortunately the link to ps_minky16's builds is dead. Is there another link available?

Umm guys. I removed the builds becoz renan release his los 17 and i thought there was no point keeping it as no one will use it becoz of newer version plus i needed some space in my gdrive to upload builds for other devices i own.
I dont have los16 sources syned. I'll try to build los17 for you guys.
Unofficially with renan's trees.

Sir i can only check the bluetooth speaker i have. And its working fine. I mean it plays a full song w/o disconnecting. Maybe a logcat would be helpful and tag renan.

For the moto G XT1034, they didn't seem to release any new enough firmware to be able to support this ROM.
If I'm mistaken, which firmware (link plz) would you suggest I install?

As far as I know XT1034 is the first Moto G falcon (2013), not Moto G 2014 (titan).
So you're in the wrong thread and these ROMs aren't compatible.

Sent from my Moto G5 Plus using XDA Labs

Has anyone experienced problems using the GPS (specifically with Google Maps) with this rom? I can set a route, complete that trip, but when I go to enter in a new address, the phone is all but locked up. It feels very warm to the touch, and nothing but a hard power off and restart returns functionality back to the phone. I don't know if it becomes so slow and unresponsive because the phone is throttling or what. The Google maps app has updated several times, since installing this rom, so maybe one of those updates is causing the problem? I have the XT1068 version, with stock Lineageos 16 rom and kernel. Thanks for any info

The latest versions of Google maps are extremely heavy for titan, even in nougat roms it takes 15 to 25 seconds to load! I am using version 9.21.0, which loads in about 5 seconds.

Hi @ps_minky16 , would you please upload a new titan build for this Renan's los16 with latest android security patch? It would be amazing for us who want to stay at the stable version until Renan's los17 gets SELinux enforced and other minor bugs get fixed.

I wouldn't even bother you with this request but unfortunately the los17 development doesn't seem active anymore (no new release since launch on november 2019...) so at this point we can't even be sure if there's even gonna be an updated version anymore.

Hopefully one day we will reach los17 stable with SELinux enforced but until that day we would appreciate a lot if you could bring this los16 stable up to date with the android security patch!

Thanks a lot for your work on this community!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
