Q: Is the 4G/3G now working with this rom? Ever since ASUS update they screwed up the RIL and have to live with 4G/2G on the dual sim. So please confirm if 3G voice is enabled on the sim not selected as the data sim!

Ohh yeah @mg712702 , don't you think the dpi setting seems higher than normal for this phone. I had to set the display size to larger for all the UI elements to go back to their normal size. This also might be part of the reason for such severe initial lag, at least that's what it seems like from my past experience.

Note this is on Battery Saver, Airplane, Data Saver. My config is also heavily modified using Kitana v6.0.1, and MyAndroidTools.

GApps (Android 9) open_gapps-arm64-9.0-pico-20180908.zip

01 flash busybox
Busybox-1.28.0-YDS-ARM.zip flash in TWRP

02 XDA thread, download KITANA_V6.0.1.sh.pdf, not v6.0.2
Rename file to KITANA
in TWRP > Mount > tick System partition
in TWRP > Advanced > File Manager > copy file KITANA to /system/bin/ > chmod 755 file KITANA
untick System partition

03 flash magisk 16.7 in TWRP
configure magisk as normally
EDIT: tried to flash magisk again in twrp, but hang & reboot, pretty sure it worked the first time

04 configure KITANA
Launch terminal
su
KITANA
1 Profile options : BATTERY
4 Battery options : see my screenshot attached
go back to main menu, press E to exit KITANA, terminal may hang, just press & hold Power button to reboot.
After restart, launch KITANA again to check settings are saved, quit Terminal this time round, don't press E to exit anymore.

Optional: configure CPU governor Interactive using Kernel Adiutor, as per my Better Battery Kernel thread

05 configure google account as per normal, install all your apps, then lastly follow post below to configure MyAndroidTools (mat), note my multiple posts in the thread about mat

It indeed is stated Alpha version, but if you don't mind the minor bugs that are currently present in this ROM (bluetooth, no in-call audio for VoLTE) and some other stuff the other users have mentioned, then it can actually be used as a daily driver. I've been using it for a few days myself and I really love the performance of this ROM. Amazing for an Alpha version of a ROM.

I personally haven't experienced any System UI lag at the moment. Not sure about the others.

What's your SoC? Sd410 or 615.
