I can't seem to boot the new release. It's stuck on the boot animation for 30 mins plus, but after downgrading it started working again. Maybe an issue was introduced, which caused it to stop booting. The old release works great tho, haven't found any issues.

You can choose to flash an unofficial, when you do so, you must think ahead that there is a big chance it will be abandoned one day, UNLESS the dev has intention to develop more and make it official.

Ok now many are stuck with an abandoned unofficial rom. If they don't like it, just flash the original stock and tears are over. The only thing is you have blown the E_Fuse so no OTA updates will be possible, you have to (dirty) flash those manually.

For me personally, so far I have not felt the need to flash Lineage yet on the A71, I still feel comfortable with stock.
However, if some dev developes Lineage officially, I think I'm one of the firsts flashing it.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. 2. Flash it using custom recovery (using Lineage Recovery preferred)
3. Format / wipe your data.

Reporting Bugs:

• Make sure the bug you want to report isn't already known
• DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
• Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
• If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
• If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
• Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Hi,
Maybe, if you find the time, it would be nice to post in the O.P. a list, in the traditional way of XDA in wich you state what is WORKING and what is not.
This, after read the whole thread, it makes newcomers to flashing a lot more clear what to expect and what not to expect, and avoid disappointment after flashing.

I know you developed a very clean basic Lineage, but I read some have higher expectations, maybe caused by not reading well, or, caused by the lack of info like such a working/not working list?
