maybe you can try the standalone kernel derived from quarx2k made by Chinese people from mfunz
it may help boot the aokp build.
I'm back from my vacation and say happy brithday to kayant! ;) hope you had a nice party with many presents :) I'm updating my repo now and also keep you guys updated in the first post :) (thanks to Kayant & conantroutman for giving me that one :) )

Any sucessfull boot reports with aokp 19/10 on MB525 ?
I been testing several ways. Whit all the kernels from quarx and the one posted in the previous page, with no succes. The last one boots, but the screen remains black. After that , had a lot of problems to restore my buckup. Some error mounting and writing system partition.

Hmmm that's weird why is mb525not working but with Slim it works??? OK PottKopp I have an idea not sure if it will work but you could try this.... Ok first port this commit to the jordan tree that we use for mb535 not the common one then try and build for the defy as usual...... I will look around tomorrow to see if I can find any reason why that's happening and last resort will be to ask Quarx :p but I really don't want to disturb him he's helped me so much already ^__^

I think it should work since the kernel supports both devices now

That's because it's a custom CM10 rom

Also can someone test the 18_10 update to see if it works for the mb525
Do we understand each other?
I found under that link only one 2nd boot kernel rom which works and it is modified CM10 I knew. Regular CM 10--each build of it works for my mb 525 from the box without problems. But use of new kernel in other roms seems to be quite difficult ,can 't wait for CNA.

Slim ROM by Kayant it is CNA thread.
ah ok thanks :)

I just tested the idea by kayant but didn't work.. also I can't get any log because my defy doesn't want to start.. when I press on 2nd boot the bootmenu goes back to the start screen.. I think some "link" of the button is wrong..

EDIT: took a look into the zip and found out that the binary for 2nd boot is missing :D now testing it with quarx' binary as soon as possible ;)

EDIT2: tried around a bit and got it to "boot".. the red led stays on and I get a black screen all the time but the screen lights are behaving just like on a normal boot gonna wait a few minutes maybe it's "optimizing apps" at this moment ;)

EDIT3: haha it boots but you don't see anything but you can unlock it and so on :D trying to fix that then release ;)

EDIT4: uploaded the logfile..

If I remember correctly this was one of the main problems defy users faced for first time with Quarx's kernel I remember he released a fix sometime ago can't remember what's called now :( which I think is included in the kernel already anyways but IT NO want to Work on AOKP for you guys :(
