didn't test yet but I'll check now as my pc is currently building my latest versionAny sucessfull boot reports with aokp 19/10 on MB525 ?
I been testing several ways. Whit all the kernels from quarx and the one posted in the previous page, with no succes. The last one boots, but the screen remains black. After that , had a lot of problems to restore my buckup. Some error mounting and writing system partition.Any sucessfull boot reports with aokp 19/10 on MB525 ?

No for me. It past the M logo but never apper the bootanimation. Just stay with the screen black and the red led on...yep 19/10 version stops on M logo for me![]()
Hmmm that's weird why is mb525not working but with Slim it works??? OK PottKopp I have an idea not sure if it will work but you could try this.... Ok first port this commit to the jordan tree that we use for mb535 not the common one then try and build for the defy as usual...... I will look around tomorrow to see if I can find any reason why that's happening and last resort will be to ask Quarxyep 19/10 version stops on M logo for me![]()
That's because it's a custom CM10 romHmm, it's interesting that it is so difficult to use 2nd boot kernel in different roms than CM10 ? Only one rom I know which works is: http://www.grupoandroid.com/index.php?/topic/60023-DroidBean[4.1.2]DroidBean [4.1.2]..
Maybe looking in it will help in some way?
Do we understand each other? That's because it's a custom CM10 rom
Also can someone test the 18_10 update to see if it works for the mb525
Yh I see am a bit tired today sorryDo we understand each other?
I found under that link only one 2nd boot kernel rom which works and it is modified CM10 I knew. Regular CM 10--each build of it works for my mb 525 from the box without problems. But use of new kernel in other roms seems to be quite difficult ,can 't wait for CNA.
I couldn't boot Slim eitherYh I see am a bit tired today sorry
Yh looks like it but it works with Slim right???
Ok can someone get a logcat from boot maybe we can found out what's going on....
Ok I need to see if any mb525 users could then we can be sure it's a big problem or just a minority of users.I couldn't boot Slim either![]()
ok.. seems I missed something.. what is slim?Ok I need to see if any mb525 users could then we can be sure it's a big problem or just a minority of users.
ah ok thanksSlim ROM by Kayant it is CNA thread.
If I remember correctly this was one of the main problems defy users faced for first time with Quarx's kernel I remember he released a fix sometime ago can't remember what's called nowah ok thanks![]()
EDIT2: tried around a bit and got it to "boot".. the red led stays on and I get a black screen all the time but the screen lights are behaving just like on a normal boot gonna wait a few minutes maybe it's "optimizing apps" at this moment
EDIT3: haha it boots but you don't see anything but you can unlock it and so ontrying to fix that then release
EDIT4: uploaded the logfile..
you don't have any link to this do you? :-/If I remember correctly this was one of the main problems defy faced for first time with Quarx's kernel I remember he released a fix sometime ago which I think is included in the kernel already but IT NO want to Work on AOKP for you guys![]()
