I flashed dirty (format /systen, wipe cache and dalvik cache) over the last CM11 build and got bootloop....maybe it is because i switched from dalvik to art....but cm11 runs great with it...anyway, will try again with a clean install.

Did you get a process.acore fc then? use developer settings for the red box. hope it will solve.

Developer settings is present in the device. Go to Settings-> Developer Settings to access it. Scroll down to see a list of options. But I am not sure which option will help you out.
i tried many of the options but doesnt seem to change anything. the red border is still there.
also another issue is in messaging app. all the previous sms messsages doesnt show up . i restored it all but when i open up the messaging app after restoration it shows the list for 1 sec and dissapears and then never comes back. all the new messages i get but not the old backed up messages

I'm sorry man. Normally backups wont work great with CM builds. I will try fixing these issues in next build.

Looks nice, i may have to try this when i get time.

The read rectangle thingy, i remember having it when i did a -eng build instead of -userdebug, can't remember if it went away from some developer option or after flashing -userebug build. There are some options with display feedback in developer settings, didn't find this one though
