[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][BETA][10.0] NitrogenOS [Op5/5t][24-08-2020]

Yes, NitrogenOS is my daily driver - solid! The only "minor" bug I've found is if you enable the navigation bar, you will lose haptic feedback and disabling the navigation bar does NOT restore it, unfortunately. Only a dirty flash of the ROM will fix it.

Steps to install NitrogenOS:
1. Back up everything you want to keep including internal storage
2. Flash an Android 10 TWRP (I prefer blu_spark TWRP v9.116)
3. Take the OOS 10 OTA upgrade or Flash the OOS 10 hotfix (updates the firmware on your phone)
4. Format the Data Partition (where you type "yes" to continue)
5. Wipe all partitions
6. Reboot to Recovery
7. Copy NitrogenOS to phone and Flash it (GApps are already included)
8. Flash Magisk 20.4 (optional)
9. Flash NoVerity (optional)
10. Reboot
11. Enjoy (REQUIRED!) :good:

@poad42 always a great update, the most complete /stable Custom ROM for me, a true fusion between Pixel/Lineage/OOS

Absolutely nothing is missing for me, VoLTE/VoWiFi working fine
-> Could you create a Status bar icon for VoWiFi like OOS ? Actually there only icon for VoLTE
Because VoWiFi working fine but without icon i can know when he's active, only when i called someone (VoWiFi is displayed) and i can make call in Airplane mode+WiFi.

All customs, tweaks, gestures are amazing, any request.
I have installed lastest Nikita GCam Mod, OOS Cam, all working perfectly also for the Camera part.

I agree! After extensively testing BlissROM, Havoc-OS, Jaguar, DerpFest, MSM Xtended, Paranoid, AICP, Validus and more, NitrogenOS is definitely the most stable custom ROM in my opinion. The other ROMs definitely have more features but stability and performance are most important to me as an extreme power user.

I would LOVE to see the following 4 features added to NitrogenOS:
1. Ticker style notifications
2. The ability to customize the font size and style of the AOD clock and weather
3. The option to add the city to the AOD weather
4. The built-in ability to take extended screenshots (yes, I know there are apps for this.)

Other features would be nice, but these four are super useful to me and my work!

2) maibe? but it does have some impact on ls runtime even if you don't use it just by introducing the code.
3) out weather impl uses code from google smartspace, that is not really contolled in framework, rather by the google app
4) again all the impls from longshot to asus stitchimage aree too unstable than I like to be shipped

If you like ticker style notifications, you could try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tombayley.statusbar
You can just use the ticker option with this app if you like. Only drawback is the statusbar background can't be transparent when ticker text is displayed, but black looks fine and ticker text can be any colour.

Yes, that's the app I currently use for ROMs that don't integrate ticker style notifications. It works great! :good:

- fix weird app conflicts when using full screen gestures
- dotfix is not included because it doesn't exist? gcam should work fine if pixel binning is enabled.

Not sure but the ROM runs well on A10 Stable firmware.
