I didn't taste it, i actually use rooted version of the previous version of your rom (Magisk + NikGapps core) and it work great
(only one thing : mms service work randomly but i don't know why)

I plan to taste the microG version next week-end

After few days of use (lineage-20.0-20221115 with NikGapps + Root) I have encoutered weird thing :
After boot (<1 minute) the phone just reboot, again and again (Another member have the same issue on lineage 19)

setenforce 0 solve definitively the problem, after that I can boot without using that command again.

No, I haven't tried it yet, but I liked your post because I use MicroG on an older tablet which made it run smoother. The Z5 is the only phone I have, so I'm a bit hesitant to try the beta. But I think MicroG is the right way forward to keep the Z5 run smooth.

Tested during seven hour yesterday, the ROM work great !

I can't sync with google without google app, for example : i have to use google agenda to sync the calendar.

I didn't try microG in the past so, It is normal ?

That points to a SELinux issue. But I can't fix it without any hint where to search for. A LOG would have helped before you solved the problem for you.

I can't find any reason for it.
That's the reason why I asked if the ROM works for you.

If you refer to my little issue, I ultimately fixed it by formatting /system and re-flashing it. I might have done that a couple of times, so no idea what actually solved it. But now it works nicely again

Weird.. I probably don't have to tell you, but I found that "htop" in a root shell (adb or onboard) is quite helpful to check what actually uses the Cpu

This is due to a mistake I made while playing around with microG.
After deleting the cache and memory microG uses, this error is gone.

I tried the beta with MicroG today without luck. The camera app kept crashing. I then tried 19 with MicroG and now the Z5 runs very smooth again! Maybe even smoother than when it was new? Many thanks Berni!!

What do you want to say with the words "without luck"? Is the ROM booting and working?
Then everything is as it should be.
Otherwise please tell me what's going on.

Exactly that, I was not lucky enough to get the camera to work, at all. The camera is needed for my ID app. Otherwise, everything else seemed fine.

That has nothing to do with luck!
The camera-sources we're using for los19.1 aren't compilable anymore for los20.0. We don't know why and we have currently no idea how to fix that!

The same with Bluetooth! It basically starts and works, but any attempt to connect results in an instant disconnect. This is so frustrating.

We indeed need any help we can get to fix those issues.
So, please, flash this ROM, grab LOGs, analyse them and give us hints where to search for.
