Wow...very very fast ROM. Themes stick, no dark ui but fixed if using blackout theme (issues with black on black in mms though) camera, data, gps all work great...bitchen solid ROM

Yes, runs smooth and fast, but I can't see the text in mms after applying theme for dark ui. It's completely black. If that gets fixed, I will run this, but need to be able see text and I hate plain white. lol

If you're having a issue with your theme theme 'n the mms app that's the theme not the rom.

This has got to be a dumb question, but when I install Carbon it tries to call and activate my phone? Anyone else's do this?

What do you mean call? Are you saying it tries to make a call after you do the set up wizard?

Everyone that is seeing your phone call out after installing any 4.4.X rom, its happened to me as well. Not sure it matters though, cause everytime, mine fails to activate, but my phone/data works.. about to test carbonKK today soon... cant wait!!

Update: I flashed the 12/28 build, looks very nice so far. Definitely stable enough for a daily driver for sure!! Very nice!! Gotta restore CarbonJB though for now, need some of the functionality & carbon fiber settings to get ironed out first.. But I will be testing all builds as I am a HUGE carbon fan!!

That call thing that happens must be a sprint thing, but as others mentioned, just skip, everything works without that call succeeding..

I've used the same themes on like 3 other Kitkat roms and gummy without this issue. As far as calling, it makes a call saying it is activating data, but all you have to do is hit the skip button below it and it doesn't affect data at all.

Everything that I use is working. I've been stuck on cm11 since 4.4 but for me this is daily driver ready. Tested the sensors and they're good. Thanks for the build. If anything changes I'll edit.

So question to users. For builds I have been releasing to ya'll, they are following suit with Carbon....Since ya'll are using this, and really I can do whatever I want with I actually run, Would ya'll prefer I keep following in suit with Carbon or cherry pick items/features which may or may not fully work yet?

How often do they merge the stuff in gerrit?

Well then that's a hard call. Right now this is the smoothest kit Kat rom I've used. CM is right there but this just seems smoother and it has the features I use, except halo. But my vote is do whatever you want to do, you're building it, people will use it no matter what.

I would try to add most of the features of the original CarbonROM, it was and still is a very popular rom.

Is there anyway to get the camera to save pictures on the SD card instead of internal memory? Also, is there an option to view battery percentage?
