strongly disagree, but to each their own preferences.

i love this rom (allowing me to use microG) and i don't miss anything about cyanogen and paranoid, back in the old days.

i just wish we had a proper recovery (like TWRP) in oder to properly backup data partition

I wonder if someone could make an Xposed module to allow a backup to external storage using dd?
OTOH, how would you restore it?

All Google apps and service crashed after updated to the new los build.
Tried resideload the gapps, still no luck.
I'm using mindthegapps.

I have been using lineage without gapps for about a month currently on latest build and very happy with it battery life is insane

One thing that has happened twice in that time for me is the phone will freeze when using Organic maps out and about in traffic

99% of the time it is fine using Organic maps

I have to use the power/volume up keys to get the phone to reboot

Has anyone tried to flash the cleanslate kernel? Why doesn't it let me download the companion apps from the play store telling me that it takes an older version of android

Thanks but I've been to that site (and lineageos.org) and I haven't found a list of features anywhere.

It does not. It is still on the Feb 2023 security update.

Standard Procedere:

1. Install kdrag0n or Displax's safetyNet Fix
   • Open Magisk
   • Tap Modules icon
   • Tap Install from storage
   • Navigate to the kdrag0n SafetyNet Fix or Displax's SafetyNet Fix file you downloaded.
   • Tap the kdrag0n SafetyNet Fix or Displax's SafetyNet Fix file.
   • Tap the check mark (✓ at the bottom) to start the installation.
   • After it installs tap the Save icon to save the log
   • Tap Reboot.
2. Settings for Magisk
   • Open Magisk App
   • Tap the Setup icon.
   • Scroll down to App and set the Update Channel to Canary.
   • Scroll down to Check Updates and enable it.
   • Scroll down to Magisk and enable Zygisk.
   • Enable Denylist
   • Tap Configure DenyList => Tap 3 Dot Menu => Check ✓ Show system apps => Check ✓ Google Play Store, Google Pay, Google Wallet etc.
   • Scroll down to Superuser and enable Enable Biometric Authentication.
3. Get Device Certified Clear Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Pay, Google Wallet, etc. data[/B]
   • Turn Airplane mode on
   • Open Settings
   • Tap Apps & notifications
   • Tap see all...
   • Tap three dot menu
   • Tap Show system
   • Scroll down to Google Play Store
   • Tap Storage & Cache
   • Tap Clear storage
     Note: Repeat the 3 steps above for Google Play Services, Google Pay, Google Wallet, etc.
   • reboot
   • Turn Airplane mode off
4. Check Device Certification, It may take 24 hours for Device Certification
   • Open Google Play Store app
   • Tap Menu - Circle top right
   • Tap Settings
   • Tap About
   • Check Play protect certification

In the meantime I've moved to Evolution rom because I've read somewhere that some app identifies LOS as a rooted device and could be a problem. With E-Rom I have no probs anymore, but I will give a try in a future to LOS once again and I will follow your great guide
