CM10 Camera Preview​

Camera Config patch:
Included in jcsullins 20130304 build
allow to change the mode of the camera and recording rotation

jcsullins preview 20121211 has camera preview5 included

Important: Do not install on top of preview3
Preview3 contained workaround for preview rotation. Preview5 fixes this issue.
If you have installed preview3 reinstall jcsullins 20121205 build (recommended) or use this patch to revert the workaround


What is working:
- preview

- skype

What is not working:
- panorama

The first release is a full ROM at this point. This will be the base for the next preview releases until we reach the functional level of preview15 for ICS. Then I'll work on getting this stuff merged to CM10 (as happened today for CM9).

1. just flash over top of your previous custom cm9
2. restore all apps, data and settings etc w / titanium or such?

as always I am very excited about all your work.

Can anyone compare battery life cm9 to this one?

nm, i will do full new install and use restore to go back to complete cm9 when i want..

if possible, i will find a way for 3 choice boot : webos, cm9 cm10

Installed directly over experimental 11-08, and everything worked just fine.
Skype is working too.

that depends if you have installed cm9 using acmeinstaller2 or 3. if you were using acmeinstaller2 you have to run acmeuninstaller to uninstall the cm9 and then acmeinstaller3 to install cm9 or cm10.
I would recommend you to create a backup, uninstall cm9, install cm9 using acmeinstaller3 and then restore the backup so you will have all your settings. then you can install cm10 (as usual with clearing dalvik/cache). but if you would like to downgrade to cm9 you need to restore the backup (as the cm10 upgrades the cm9's configuration database to the newer format that cm9 doesn't recognize)

It's based on the latest sources except the yesterdays jcsullins commit to the kernel (it's been built before the commit). The audio driver is from jcsullins preview. Generally the sources are newer but may perform a little worst than jcsullins preview. Will be upgraded in preview2 version.

Thanks a lot OP for the great job! Almost everything runs perfectly except some jitters when loading or flipping pages in chrome
