Corvus OS is another retarded ROM with many retarded Customization. First, it's inspired by Dirty Unicorns (thanks to Alex Cruz), but then we picked many other features too. Our objectives are a stable and feature ROM that can be enjoyed by many devices. We won't say that Corvus is better ROM than others, but we always try to give you the best.​

1. First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
2. Download Corvus Latest ROM Zip
3. Flash ROM Zip & Vendor (if applicable according to your device manual )
4. Flash any add-ons if you want to like Gapps, Magisk, Etc.
5. Reboot & enjoy!​

Ans. Its based on AOSP
2. Do we need to flash Gapps?
Ans. Yes Corvus OS does not come with prebuilt gapps.
3. When will be the next update! Any ETAs?
Ans. There will be regular updates as and when the team is ready to push a new update. Kindly do not ask for ETAs.
4. I need this feature/ I found some bugs!
Ans. Firstly if u find any bug then please check with your add-ons like magisk module, zips, etc u flashed and whether its related or no. Also, did you use the official dirty unicorns Android q build as a base and just added features, or did you use an unofficial build of dirty unicorns as a base?

This evening I tried both AICP and Corvus.
Did not expect it, but when I have to choose I definitely would say Corvus!
Both are nice and stable btw, but Corvus does have great theming and more features.

Luis kernel was included on the members feedback I got from the testing group .

Regarding the source, I have left the source link for both roms, you can check it for more details reg the base.

If you go over to the due website the next post up from the one you linked says that du isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and above they they announced that due 14 so I'm not sure what the post you linked is all about. Either way, there is an official build and a weekly for the one plus 3/3t for du14, but, like pijas82 said, that seems to be the end of it unfortunately.
As for corvus, it has wayyy more customisation than the du builds.
