If your looking for the Camera app, it's now built into Gallery in CM10.
I've never been a Galley fan and prefer Quick Pic instead, so I've routinely have pulled the Gallery app from my builds to save space. If you delete Gallery in CM10 you loose the Camera.

Bluetooth and GPS are working fine for me. The camera is the only thing keeping this from becoming my daily driver, the voice search problems aren't a big deal for me.

Currently running with a 230MB system and 20MB cache partition, with only Dalvik on the ext partition, using S2E 1.0. It's smooth and quicker than expected.

Out of curiosity, have you tried any alternate camera apps (from the playstore or elsewhere) with gallery removed? Just wondering if the camera functionality itself is built into the gallery app, or if it's just lack of a way to launch the camera with gallery removed that is the problem...

There is no camera.apk in the system\app folder and no camera app in the app drawer if gallery isn't installed. TMK, the camera is integrated into Gallery in Jelly Bean.
I've been testing several camera apps from the market today and the one that does seem to work so far is "HDR Camera". It's a free app that's OK for testing, but the $2.50 paid version HDR Camera+ app has a lot more features. This looks to be a decent camera app, but because of the app's post picture processing features, it's kind of slow on the Aria's with CM10. It takes about 10 seconds from snapping the pic for it to appear on the screen for viewing. But if you have to have a camera, it does seem to work. The HDR Camera app is more responsive on CM7.

Edit: I'm running the apps and data internal, only dalvik is on my ext partition.

Thanks - I was just trying to determine if the camera would function via an alternate camera app, with the gallery removed - which you have successfully confirmed! TBH I haven't really had time to keep my daily driver SGS2 current and stable lately, so I haven't had time to get totally caught up on Aria developments to the point where I can flash this and know I'm doing everything right. Just trying to stay on top of the major changes so I know what works, and what workarounds I'll need when I get to it.

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but in CM9/ICS there was a built in data usage meter. Is there one on this Rom/will there be one in future builds?
Thanks for the great work,

It should be there, but its not.. don't know why its not working..
I remember seeing something in the logcat.. I'll have to look at it

WinSuk, how's the development coming?

Mostly "behind the scenes" stuff I was waiting for.. WiFi tethering/hotspot is fixed though, and the camcorder gets a little farther

No progress on features that include voice input?

That will require a newer kernel (or at least something ported from a newer kernel), and I'm not very good with kernels.
This has been done to get other things working (HW acceleration, data usage meter[which is now missing again in Jellybean], etc), but I don't know of any other 7x27 devices with ICS+ voice search working, and I probably wouldn't be the one to do it.

It's supposed to be full. Android keeps apps open for awhile so they start faster if you open them again, and if it needs more memory it will close some that aren't being used.
So unless stuff isn't opening or it's crashing to the boot animation, that's completely normal :)

It gets to the point where the whole system starts lagging. I actually reverted back to CM7 because of that issue. Is there a way to COMPLETELY kill the apps?

Sorry, if I annoyed you. I just noticed that no one else had a problem with this particular issue, so I thought there could've been a solution for me.

My apologies.

Perhaps you should try doing a clean re-flash of the ROM? Or have you already tried that? If that doesn't help, have you ever used Supercharger by Zeppelinrox? That is aimed specifically at freeing up RAM and keeping your phone running smoothly.
On another note, how's the battery life for other people using this ROM? I'm getting give or take 15 hours per charge.
I've been using the ROM for almost a week and am considering using it as my daily driver. It's an excellent piece of work.
Once again, Kudos to the Devs, much appreciated :)

My apologies.

It's impossible to kill every app and still use Android, that's all. Maybe try not killing anything for a few days and see how it goes? (no task killers either)
The only time I had to kill anything on ICS was while watching videos.. if I watched stuff for too long, it would run out of memory and have to reboot because of a bug in the software video decoder. That bug seems to be gone on Jellybean, so there should be no reason to kill anything
If you're still having memory problems, maybe try enabling zRam in Settings > Performance > Memory management. It will slow stuff down while it compresses & decompresses though

You'll probably get some better answers at the general forum, or the Q&A.

This phone is reliable and efficient. Very small and capable of meeting all the basic needs.

Anyway, what happened to drowningchild? He used to build one of the best kernel for aria.

CyanogenMod 10 (based on Android 4.1.2 "Jelly Bean") for HTC Liberty ("Aria/Gratia")

NOTE: Just to make this clear, this is UNOFFICIAL, and NOT supported by CyanogenMod.

    Screenshots: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1077120/Android/cm10shots/index.html

Hboot 1.02 or higher is required!

Bugs & stuff that doesn't work:

    - Backlight for navigation buttons won't turn on sometimes (it seems to work fine on auto brightness though)
    - Built-in voice recognition doesn't work (see Tips & Tricks for workaround)
    - Emergency calling is untested
    - Headset/headphones already plugged in will not be detected on boot
    - HTML5 videos (like m.youtube.com in the browser) don't work
    - Lockscreen can sometimes glitch out on boot
    - Netflix doesn't work (maybe some others too)
    - Panorama "works", but is VERY slow & glitches making it pretty much unusable
    - Timelapse recording doesn't work
    - USB tethering doesn't work

    Tips & Tricks:

    - Trackball wake: Open Terminal Emulator and run "trackballwake", then reboot. Do the same to disable

    - Voice Search on Google Now (kind of):
    1. Install Voice Search from the Play Store
    2. Install this app (now requires $0.99): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770100
    3. Long-press search key (or open app drawer), and pick Voice Search Assistant with the blue microphone icon
    4. App will capture voice using the old Voice Search, then send it to Google Now
    5. Press search button on keyboard

    - FM radio: use Spirit FM and allow root requests

Thanks: gladiac & Droste for helping with CM10, and everyone who helped with CM9 (gladiac, Droste, munjeni, s0be)
CyanogenMod for supporting so many old devices, and keeping Android open

The CM update script is supposed to restore Google Apps, but sometimes doesn't successfully (probably due to space limits). If you are updating, format /system then reinstall both the ROM package and gapps package

A full Google Apps package won't fit on the system partition, so I've taken out a few things (face unlock & GoogleTTS which we can't use, etc)

This may be the last complete version of Android this phone gets unless Google cuts down on the size a lot in the next version (unlikely, since they don't support old devices with small storage)
