How is CM12 going so far? known bugs, working stuff, etc? I wanna test it myself since CM11 had the deadlock

I just can't see this awesome cm11 ROM just die in front of my eye. Anyone have a Dropbox or Media fire link that is hosting this ROM... I never really got to try out this ROM
There is a link for the rom in the thread itself. Look for the pages. This is the best rom ever ported, unfortunately there are still no developers that can help in fixing deadlock and video playback
Good to have one. Specially to make a cool google play edition phone. And I like holo theme more than lolipop and marshmallow ui

Google drive link don't work and Jenkins server deleted CM11_FORTUNAXX3G section. And indeed its the best ported ROM ever. I don't even care about deadlock or playback. i came back to the site an hour later and it was running fine... competed the download and it worked
now im stuck in another problem and ive been up all night finding the solution....
my phone is stuck in odin boot loop.... not the kind that shows the boot logo and then pulls up odin.... it goes straight into odin mode as soon as i turn it on.... so i thought id start over and flash everything from scratch but odin manager wont pick my phone at all. any idea how deep in poo im in??
Did you tried flashing the ROM with Odin? And did you tried flashing something on Odin?
And.. Google drive of the ROM doesn't works. What link you used?

That's the thing. I can't flash the phone. Odin on my PC doesn't sense the phone is connected... I can safely say the phone is soft brick tho.
Maybe my history would explain... I was trying to install the custom rom cm 13. Before that I needed to instal twrp. That's where things went haywire... in the twrp manager I clicked install recovery. Selected the right file and that was it. The boot loop started. I don't mind starting from scratch. But how do I start?
Btw my phone is the Samsung galaxy grand prime. I believe its the g530t

That's the big problem you did.. If your running Grand Prime VE (Value Edition) it should be working. But if you don't have VE that means your soft bricked your device. Because TWRP is officially available for VE not for other models.
And you can start from scratch if your phone boots to Odin Mode or Download Mode. Just download your model of firmware from sammobile.com and flash it from your PC using latest version of Odin... If your phone is not detected from your PC download Samsung driver from this link - http://developer.samsung.com/board/download.do?bdId=T000000117&attachId=0000000003
Try this and let me know if it worked

The drivers I have are fine... I actually soft bricked my phone a few times last night and unbricked it just fine. Once cuz I wiped the whole phone and started from scratch again. Rooted the phone twice. Even unlocked the frp 3 times... this on the otherhand, is kinda outta my hands.... the second the phone turns on it gives me Odin mode. No boot logo. Can't get in recovery. But I will look into sammobile as soon as I get home. But I do appreciate the fact u informed me about the specific models twrp works for... in fact I thank the whole lot of ya for the help

First sorry for the delay, excuse my English because I am Brazilian and I'm sorry to prolong this, because I do not know your level of expertise in installation of rom.
The CyanogenMod ROM is based on stock 4.4
The Lollipop Kit kat and the partitions are different and responsible for recovery to install only works if you have the rom stock (rom samsung 4.4) installed.
First you must be sure of what to do.
Download the rom stock 4.4 site (create an account or log in to download the file)

choice according to the baseband version from your mobile phone (if G53H0XCU SM or SM G53H0XXU)
After downloading the rom extract the file and download the .zip I did upload (it contains the Odin and Recovery)
download the CyanogenMod version

and fortunave3g if your baseband version is XCU
http://opengapps.org download google apps package (select ARM / 4.4 / Peak)
Once you have all downloaded files hold the phone in download mode. ---> Turn off the phone and turn on by pressing down volume, home and power button
Insert the USB cable into the computer and phone
Extract the Odin and the phone in download mode and connected to your computer, open the odin PDA and select TWRP-SMG530H.tar (this is the recovery of the lollipop and you can use to back up your ROM with your files to phone memory or memory card (external SD
*card) if you need not skip this step
To enter recovery mode ->
Turn off the phone and turn on by pressing volume up, home button and power button
To back up your files and sistem'--> connect the phone in recovery mode, then select the option in the recovery backup.
Select to backup - System, date and boot and choose where to save the file (by default will be saved in the device's internal memory but in "Storage" it is possible to choose to save to external memories)
After making your choices go to "Swipe to backup"
Once you have your saved backup exit download mode and if you have saved in the internal memory pass your backup to your computer
*Place the ROM CyanogenMod 11 (file downloaded from Jenkins site) in your phone's external memory,
(If you have no external memory I can explain how to install the ADB android or adb sideload)
Extract the Odin and open, select the samsung rom file for PDA on Odin, wait for the odin do the extraction of ROM, put your phone into download mode, then it appears on Odin ->
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished sucessfully ..
<OSM> Leave CS ..
place start in odin
Wait for the installation and if some error happens just put your phone in download mode and place again "start" in Odin
After installation if after a few minutes the phone call and see a black screen make the installation again
After already installed samsung rom successfully (cell takes about 5 minutes to start after making the installation of the ROM)
Turn off the phone and put in download mode, Odin select PDA and search by file PhilzTouch.tar
Do the same before but this time procidimento not need to appear <OSM> Checking MD5 finished sucessfully ..
<OSM> Leave CS .. in Odin
Made the installation of Recovery, put your phone into recovery mode and select "Wipe and format Options"
select "Clean Install to the new ROM"
Go back to the recovery menu and select install zip, choose the CyanogenMod ROM file and install, allow the installation to complete and select "Install Zip" and choose the GAPPS file after that just select "Reboot system now" and use the rom cm 115
I know how to fix wifi and it work for me now, but I dnt know how to fix ril5Everyone needs to stop begging the devs to fix things. They're aware of the issues and are actively investigating and working to patch them. Development is hard. Chill out and let them do their thing. If your not willing to provide logcats and critical feedback, don't bother complaining "it doesn't work fix it fix it fix it!" Your frustrating the devs, not helping them. I've been in that situation. Sit back, relax and watch the magic happen. Got a problem with how things are progressing? Pro tip: don't use it yet! It's clearly not ready for DD use unless all your looking for is a really small tablet. Keep an eye on the OP and see if things have progressed. If not, come back after a week. Building from scratch takes MONTHS of trial and error. If your not gonna be constructive, then sit on the sideline.
