About Us (Quoting the DU Team):
Dirty Unicorns is an AOSP based project built to enhance the stock Android experience.

Our focus has been and is always to contribute back to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do.

We DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. This includes, but is not limited to; Devices, Gerrit, our websites and services, etc.. The only thing that we ask in return is that you have patience, search the thread for answers prior to posting, read diligently, and try to enjoy the process with us!

About This Unofficial Build:
Majority of the credit for this ROM goes to the Dirty Unicorns team.
Since this is an unofficial build, do not expect any support from the DU team.
Builds will follow the official Dirty Unicorn ROM releases
Unless otherwise specified, the features in the ROM will be functionally identical to the official Dirty Unicorns ROM releases. No device specific feature requests will be accepted.
My time is fairly limited, so, while I will respond to posts/PMs, it might occasionally be a few days before I respond. You can also try to reach me via the DU Unofficial Support Telegram.

Notes about the 2020-09-14 build:
1. This is the last DU 14 release. With the public release of Android 11, the next focus for DU is re-basing the project using the Android 11 sources. Please do not request for an ETA.
2. Use the latest radio/bootloader from Android 10. The Android 11 radio/bootloader may cause issues.
3. The device fingerprint will still reflect the August 2020 release even though this has been built using the September 2020 sources.
4. The device proprietary files are still from the August 2020 release because there is no September 2020 Android 10 release for this device

Love it!

Works great, through testing I have figured out ElementX kernel breaks wifi, any idea why?

Bit odd, I rebooted my phone due to 0 signal and now it's just stuck on 'phone is starting' for hours.

Dirty flashed the newer version but still same thing :-S

How can I clear cache? I don't want to factory reset.

Phone not recognized by PC now...?

After flashing with no problems now my PC will not recognize my phone when connected via USB. When connected pixel4 shows up in my computer but clicking on the folder brings up an empty folder. There should be several file folders at this level. Also, when I turn on USB debugging then pixel4 disappears from my computer. When I turn off USB debugging, poof, it comes back, although still without any content in the pixel4 folder. Really weird.

I am also not being challenged to "authorize this PC" w/ debugging privilege's when I turn on USB debugging and I'm pretty sure I should be seeing that.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks for porting to flame, you would thinks that XL and normal versions would be the same aside form the scren, however official DU support is non-existent.

Anyway props to to you for bringing us one of the best custom roms out there.

    Thanks :cowboy:

Official support does not exist because no DU team membe' has the Pixel 4. DU only supports devices owned by the team because it is a ROM that focuses on quality, and testing on-device is key.

Yes, the two devices are nearly identical and ROMs could theoretically be swapped, but subtle differences like screen and power configs are sufficient reasons to avoid that. Since I personally own a Pixel 4 and I've been building since the start of DU 14 personally, I see no reason to not share what I do with the community. I do test every release, but maybe not as extensively as the DU team because I rely on their great work. As long as I own this device, I will continue to build DU for it.

    Thanks buddy that's awesome news.

You could always try and apply for DU team and be the offial maintainer for this device?

    Just a thought

I'm sorry just a little confused do I need the bootloader radio zip file? If so do I flash it after the room l rom, and do I flash the magisk IMG after rebooting?
