Has anyone tested ART yet (after clearing more space in system)? Does it still bootloop?
It will take an hour to boot if it works. I don't think art actually uses /system space. I believe just the dalvik folder is affected. You also need good gapps. I think banks are fine.

It does effect system in a way, the gapps need the dex files for art which is why we dont have real art compatibility. The banks core package does not have the dex files for art to save system space

Wi-Fi Doesn't Seem to be Working

Hello,

I'm currently on the newest build, and recently my wi-fi's been acting a little strange.

It says I'm connected to the network correctly, but when I click on browser, youtube, play store, or any other app that requires internet, it loads for about 20 minutes and then says "No network connection".

My computer, also connected to my network, seems to work fine; it's just my phone that has the problem.

Is there any way I could fix this?
Thanks for your help in advance.

You can start with logging the issue. Logcat to begin. Also a kernel log to assist. Need it to see what might be crashing it.

Can't even do that. When I press "Upload logcat" after "fetch logcat" (in the toolbox/bug report), I think it goes through the network to create a link for me to post. But... if the network isn't working, how can I get a logcat?

Is there another way for me to do a logcat without using the evervolv way?

Connect to PC, make sure usb debugging is selected on the phone, type adb devices on your computer to see if the computer detects the phone, then type "adb logcat > error.txt"

USB debugging is selected and my phone is connected but when i type adb devices it says:

List of devices attached:

^ just blank. Does it not recognize my phone? Should I turn on USB storage?

I've installed this ROM, looks like it was successful but I cannot get off of the welcome screen. I hit the arrow to proceed and it attempts to make the *22899 call. This is an inactive phone, the call ends and then it takes me right back to the Welcome screen. What can I do to skip the activation call?

The old answer is, hit 'end call' when it starts the activation call, try again, end call again, and after the third try it would let you on through. Not sure on this rom if that's still true, and I can't exactly test it because mine is activated.

Yes, that also worked for me many times in the past but not this time. Ive also let the calls time out and that doesn't work either. After a few times of either approach I get a pop up that "Settings" has crashed. I would try the touch the 4 corners trick but part of the digitizer doesn't work. Oh well, unless someone had another idea I'll go back to jellybean as this happens with both KitKat roms. Thanks though.

Start at the top-left and move clockwise... I have posted pics...
I'm not sure how to get past it then. Maybe install the newest Evervolv ROM that lets you get past the welcome screen, then dirty flash kitkat over it and see what happens. You may have to clear data on any apps that FC.

I'll give that a try and see if it works. Thanks for the suggestion!

ROM is working great so far, any custom kernels supported yet?
Nope. Incredikernel maybe in the future but it's been problematic fixing it with ion. I don't have the time or I'd rebase the features from Incredikernel into the stock kernel.

Thank you for the info, I have one issue so far that I can't figure out. For whatever reason when I reboot it stays on the white htc screen for hours and never boots. If I reboot to recovery and reflash (dirty flash) the rom/gapps it boots fine again. Any ideas? Is my hboot too old? I'm using twrp 2.6.3.0-inc and the latest version of the rom/gapps you provided.

I don't know yo be honest. I didn't provide gapps for this version and I don't run inc as a daily but from what you said it might be some weird hardware issue. Wouldn't hurt to full wipe.
