You don't need root to install a custom rom. You just need a custom recovery. Also kingroot is a terrible option and is known to contain malware/adware plus it doesn't remove all modifications if you uninstall it. I suggest you visit Updato.com to download latest stock rom for your region and flash it asap.

Sir, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the valuable advice. I will flash my phone with the stock room right away and then proceed with custom ROM installation. Which custom rom would be best for samsung Galaxy note 2 gt-n7100? I leaning more towards lineage os if there is one for the aforementioned phone model. Can you please provide me with the latest stepwise installation guide of lineage os? I am somewhat experienced with rooting as I have previously successfully rooted my brother's Micromax canvas knight.

AICP and Crdroid are the best in my opinion.

Installation is pretty simple. Download TWRP from here and flash with Odin.
Boot into recovery and do a full wipe (cache, dalvik, system, data and internal storage)
Flash rom>>flash gapps (use ARM 7.1)>>wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.

If you need to pass SafetyNet, you have two options:
1) Flash Lineage Su (use addonsu-14.1-arm-signed.zip) and install iSu. Follow setup instructions in the thread.

2) Flash Magisk. In order for Magisk to work you will need to flash either Hybrid kernel or the updated AICP kernel. Flash rom>>flash magisk>>flash kernel>>flash gapps>>wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.

You can't ask for the best ROM in a ROM's thread. CrDroid is the latest updated ROM with latest security update but each ROM has it's own charm.
For flashing a ROM you need to flash the latest TWRP first. Boot to recovery, clear data, cache and system and flash the ROM and any gapps package(arm).

Hi, so I decided to flash perseus alpha kernel with the viper rom using TWRP but now that ive flashed it my phone won't run the rom and i cant access recovery(TWRP) , and can only access download mode. Is there any way to fix this or reset my phone?

I'd really appreciate if you could get back on this matter quickly because i need it quite literally in a few days or so

Perseus kernel? It's only for KitKat ROMs not for Nougat. Currently the only working cuatom kernel for Nougat is hybrid. If you can access download mode, flash your stock ROM, TWRP and flash this ROM back

It's a media server bug. Either kill the media server or

Go to /system/vendor/firmware on your phone and copy all files starting with "Slim blah blah blah". Paste them to your /data/cfw folder

After installing open_gapps-arm-7.1-micro-2018100.zip installed with the Viper-n7100-20180328-Coral-v3.1.1-UNOFFICIAL.zip version software, the red color frame flashes on the screen and it is very uncomfortable is this normal?

Which rum do you use? I'm tired of dealing with these custom roms. I tried twelve roms. There was a big problem in each one. Either the screen remains locked, either the answering call is not working, it is rebooting itself, it does not provide Pc connection etc ....
