the last days in a telegram group where @logosA1 uploaded some of the latest BL and CP (modem/baseband) that Samsung has released this year, users that have flashed them are reporting that, especially after the CP flashing , are seen great improvment in battery drain issues they had.
The files that I have are these:
BL_N7100XXSFQE2.tar.md5
CP_N7100XXUFNG1.tar.md5
which are the latest that for our phone.
You can seek and find the Samsung downloads in:
https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=gt-n7100&order=date&dir=desc&exact=1

or if you think you can trust him, download the rar bellow and in it you can find BL and CP in tar format that you can flash with odin and this way update your phones.

PS. The modem has been reported to work in Europe, Asia , Middle East and India. The Americans must be sure these modems are also working for them before flashing it.

Hey guys i have made some edits to last version of santosh rr rom and made this new version :

Resurrection Remix v5.8.6 N 7.1.2 2018-02-19​

Change log for resurrection remix v5.8.6 based on rr by santosh v5.8.5 and edited by me(Marc) :

1-added hybrid kernel (boeffla) with latest update 19-02-2018
2-added lineage su
3-added some new system apps: 1)via(browser), 2)lawnchair(launcher),
3)and more...
4-added performance and battery tweaks: (will improve performance and battery life so much )
5-added some init.d scripts
6-added some build prop tweaks
7-some more improvements...

Note:
1-You Need To Clean Install This update
2-After installation you need to go to developer options and enable root then go to boeffla config app and grant root permissions and change charging speed to 1700ma

***Very important note : you must have installed the latest twrp recovery before flashing this rom or you will get a boot loop(Download Latest Twrp)

***BUGS: NOTHING.... if you find any problem let me know to solve it***​

hi bro .. i already try your edited version. everything smooth but when my devices non active then i press home button there is about 1 second delay then screen showed up. please tell me how to fix it.
fyi. i used default boefla config. and not install anything except whatsapp.

Try my new rr v5.8.5 android 7.12_r36 it should fix the problem

HDMI via MHL never work on AOSP. It works only on two based ROMs.

There won't be any Oreo ROM until new kernel 4.13+ is ported to our device. Forkbomb is working on it, so we have to wait.
