Unzip the 6.4 zip, move and patch the boot.img in magisk on your device, copy the patched boot.img back to your pc, re-zip all the files again with the patched boot.img instead of the original, then install it like usual without wiping.

Now I somehow can't update or do anything because flasher doesn't see my device

upd. nvm
forgot that i reinstalled windows and need motorola drivers

upd2. my stupidity is amazing

so hmm weird bug, after installing the new update in a clean install my specific cable stopped charging the phone or be recognized by it, its weird cause it still works in the fastboot, it could be related to the fact that i accidently rebooted mid dirty flash (which is why i did a clean install), any ideas? i checked the cable with other phones and it works also with a different cable my phone charges just fine

Definitely weird.

I would reinstall stock firmware and boot it up. Check it works there, then reflash the rom

i think i would just live with it for now since i don't want to backup my data again, its so odd its legit only this one cable, i have the same type of cable and it works too.

My carrier doesn't support VoLTE so i had no idea hahaha, and i agree about combined signal icons, i always use it, have a great day mate 😉

I got an error when I was trying to change call forward setting, and I try to use MMI code directly then I got error too.
I searched for this and I got some information about this:

Hey all, loving the ROM, but wondering if there's an issue? I seem to be noticing the wifi randomly just turns off when I'm home?

Anyone else? Been going through setting to see if there's something I'm missing, checked dev settings too.

Anyways, if it's a just me issue - any thoughts on how I can help my wifi in and connected when I'm at home? Just blew through my cell data now I'm stuck on slow speeds for the next 2 weeks and it's annoying AF. Also open to suggestions as to how to track down what's causing it to turn off

I cant say i've ever noticed my wifi turn off at home before.
I'd recommend a clean install maybe (flash stock, boot to the welcome screen, format data and flash evo x).
Or wait till later today and try the july update 😉😀

You tease....... thx. Yeah, very weird. Think I've figured out how to keep it on via macrodroid, but I'll wait until later today, tomorrow - depending where we both are (Vancouver Canada)

    First Time Install / Clean Flash
    1. Download the zip for your device
    2. Reboot to fastboot/bootloader

    4. Run flash.bat, select 1 for latest drivers.
    5. Press "n" and then "3" to open a cmd window
    6. Type fastboot -w
    7. Type fastboot update filename.zip (changing filename.zip to the actual filename)
    8. Wait for device to reboot to system
    9. #KeepEvolving

    Update / Dirty Flash
    1. Download the zip for your device
