Excellent, thank you. Do these apn settings work with LOS 18 as well? In case you have tried.... I dont have this device yet, it is on its way.
That does not work on my Verizon IN2025. The settings are greyed out and you cannot change or add anything. You will be able use this Rom maybe when it goes official or Verizon really gets rid of thier CDMA settings and fully goes GSM. Thier projected date on that is the end of 2021. You can use the various Magisk half roms though and the Paranoid Rom from the cross developement thread if you can get it to work. Last I checked it was still in Beta.

??? There is always the option to add new apn settings. That has never happened to me. I will report back when I get the device and try that.

Excuse me for probably a dumb question to some but, in the downloads section, what are the zip with gms name? What's the difference between the two files, gms vs non gms?

Does this ROM support a Verizon simm on a IN2025?

UPDATE:
It installs fine and seems to work fine other than data. I have wifi & LTE but no data.
I've been trying to shove a Visible SIM (Verizon MVNO) on every custom rom I can get my hands on, all basically to no avail. My questions are typically met with sweeping shrugging shoulders. Looks like "big red" is going to continue to be a pain in the ass, even if you can bring unlocked devices to them. If they can't lock you out on the devices they sell specifically, then they'll just lock you out at the network level when you flash a custom rom.

Multible 3rd party roms work with Verizon on my 7TPro including one that I am on right now thats Android 11. I think they can bake in the ROM the settings for Verizon/Visible to work right but there are so few of users, its not worth the effort at this point.

Just saw today that crDroid put up a build to try for Verizon users. Downloading now and I'll throw it on soon.
Thanks for the reply!

Edit: Other users flashed the test build from crDroid and said that Visible still isn't working. It seems that, despite running on Verizon network, the specific APN settings and any "deeper" carrier integration is not included with custom roms yet. I think you've nailed it on the head that there is further integration needed but that there just isn't enough user support to justify rebuilding the roms for the small handful of people squawking about it (myself included). I'll continue to try new versions and squawk my heart out, offering any contribution that may be needed in the meantime to bring this integration to roms.

Edit2: Boy do I miss the days of TWRP backups where you can try whatever you want knowing you can go right back to your stable daily driver with the tap of a few buttons. Our devices seem to increasingly become less and less ours with every passing generation.

Yes , I also tried the 7.2 test rom and had no connection as usual with my Verizon simm.

I was just thinking about the Preferred Network Type on my Verizon 8 pro because the default is now 2g/3g/4g/5g (Automatic). They used Global on my old S-10 and from what I seen, the custom roms still use the old LTE/CDMA/GSM type networks. If you tap on the connection, you can change it to less of a service only like 2g/3g/4g but all the old types of preferred networks are gone. There are only 4 left down to 2g only.

I'm trying to build this, but I can't seem to find the contents for device/oneplus/instantnoodlep/proprietary-files.txt to match what's in your build. I can only find it for 18.1 in the official Lineage repo but I'd like to stay on 17.1 for a while.

They're on the OP's GitHub - I asked the same a while back, so use thread search to search my username

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions :
    • Download the latest build
    • $ adb reboot bootloader
    • $ fastboot -w (this will wipe your data)
    • $ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    • $ fastboot reboot fastboot
    • $ fastboot erase scratch
    • $ fastboot flash boot boot.img
    • $ fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
    • $ fastboot flash system system.img
    • $ fastboot flash product product.img
    • $ fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
    • $ fastboot flash vbmeta_system vbmeta_system.img
    • $ fastboot reboot

    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

I was getting slow charging so i did some gogleling finding and experimenting with magisk modules & I found this one and sure worked it charges rapidly now instead of slow.

Huh so all this module does is `echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge` but said path does not exist. Really makes you think (TM).

BTW 'Charging slowly' is just a visual bug with DASH chargers. It still charges fast lol.

Are gapps included or do we need to flash separately?

Look at downloads list and answer this question yourself.

Anyone tell me what the difference between the gms and non gms versions are while downloading the zip?
The GMS version includes Google apps like the Play Store and Google Play Services. The non-GMS version does not include any Google services.
