I don't recommend that you go back to lollipop rooms. lineage 16 and lineage 17.1 are the best choice for this device. even the stock room (lollipop) was very very bad.
lineage 16 is almost perfect
lineage 17.1 is good but the battery drain is too much compared to lineage 16
both are a great choice :good:
this device is getting better with newer android versions
I am currently using lineage os 15.1 stable version , the rom is good but i am facing storage problem this lenovo a6000 has only 8gb of space if i convert my sd card to internal storage i unable to transfer my media between my computer and phone when i connect it to pc it shows only internal storage when sd card is converted to internal storage
with lineage os 17.1 you would have about 4.5 Giga after flashing the ROM. :good:
This is great as you may install many apps without the need of formatting sd card as internal.
remember this is the first version of lineage os 17.1 so it is not fair to compare it to lineage os 15.1 as the latter has received many update
I think no one cares much about ram management on this device due to its specs..
you need to install "Twrp recovery" to be able to install any custom ROM
Its 32bit one you have to download..
Download 15 sec universal driver from google and try again.
Thanks to the dev for bringing Android 10 to A6000
Clean installed the ROM a couple of hours ago. Everything seems to be stable and pretty. Love it. The phone was not laggy or slow even after the very first boot. Excited about exploring all the features of Android 10.
Two issues that I have noticed so far -
1. The phone is not latching on to the network. Tried both SIMs and both Automatic and Manual setting. It latches on - full five bars, then drops it, then latches on, then drops it. So on.
2. The 'Live Display' setting crashes the settings app - the settings within the 'Live Display' section cannot be changed apparently?
Thanks for any help in resolving the above two.
Thanks for the prompt response. I have verified with multiple SIMs and multiple locations - it will not latch on to any network.
I ran the command you mentioned but the command appears to run indefinitely and no .txt file is output. I exported the CMD log anyway and is attached. I only let the command run for a few seconds as the log file was quickly exceeding the forum limit of 512KB for txt files.
