Thank you @notz76
You are the only one supporting this device as of now. :)

Has anyone tried this build? The Maxx is my daily driver, so I do not want to be the first one to take a shot. :p

Sorry, you need to unlock the bootloader on these devices to achieve permanent root access and enable writing to the system partition. Try the Sunshine app, but I believe your firmware version can not be unlocked, and there is basically no hope for that changing.

goddamnite. i need a copy of CM 12.1, stat, and they don't seem to exist anywhere for obake anymore. could someone put up a link please? i'll be your boyfriend if you do!

sadly i had to wipe my maxx, and then spent the ensuing 6 hours trying to flash something other than the stock 4.4.4. i mean, i could go back and do the whole moto x firmware thing again... ugh ugh SAVE YOURSELF DRAMA AND SAVE EVERY ROM YOU D/L FOREVER.

hehe

First boot

Lineage OS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Lineage OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. Lineage OS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Code:
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */

When coming from any other ROM, you must do a factory reset / clean flash.

The first boot can take a very long time. Don't assume that it is a bad flash, boot loop, etc. until it has sat for at least 5 minutes.

PROTIP: Be sure to flash gapps at the same time you flash the rom. If you boot into los-13.0 without gapps and attempt to flash them later, you're going to have a bad time

Did you flash gapps immediatly after flashing the ROM? Or did you allow the phone to boot to Android before installing gaps?
@notz76: Any new build for April?

It may be that we have seen the last update for obake.

I came to this ROM late and I wonder if anyone could at least point me to (or create) a link to an earlier build with the LED notification?
