Hi guys can anyone help me? I'm new to this and I've almost read everything in this post, but I still had no idea how to solve my problem.
I have the SM T113NU and I got the TWRP from this post (3.0.2 goyave) and used Odin 3.13.1 to install it.
From what I saw on the internet, my procedure worked, as the Odin application showed that it was successfully installed.
But when I start the device by holding HOME, VOLUME UP and POWER BUTTON the TWRP menu does not appear. In fact, it only appears the default factory menu to wipe reset and other things.
Can I do it with another method without using Odin? Can I continue using Odin but use another TWRP?
I appreciate any help, thank you

Hey friend, I wanted to get it here by following this guy's tutorial here:

I did it step by step and it worked, you see, I think the secret is to disable "auto reboot" in odin options: https://prnt.sc/qRufZ3xLk7Mg

What's you model?
It's the SM-T113NU?
And how do I install it? It's the same as other devices: install Twrp> flash> install ROM> install gapps?
****...forget what I said. I replied in the wrong thread. Not even sure why I'm subbed to this thread at all, I don't own a Tab E, and I've never used LOS 14.1 on it.

I thought I was replying in a LOS 20 gsi thread.

You missed the memo:

You missed the memo:

ah i see.

the
camera and 3 G will never work... upgrade to Nougat requires giving up those functionalities , at least until someone continues Paulo's work . Developer Needed for T113/T116

Theres a active commuinity developing for samsung devices with sc8830 (The SoC this model has) on telegram. they are doing progress and hopefully we'll see something soon.

Hi, I have a Samsung Tab 3 SM-T113 and after few comparisons I found out that it's the same hardware as the Samsung Tab E SM-T113NU, so I installed this rom.
Here my procedure:
Device in bootloader mode
Flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-goyave.img via odin v3.14.1
Flash twrp-3.0.2-0-goyave.img via TWRP image flash
reboot in recovery
factory reset, format data and advanced wipe (deleted literally the sh*t out of the tablet)
flashed the LineageOS 14.1 zip via twrp 3.0.2-0 (the newer versions don't work on my tablet)
Flashed magisk22.apk via twrp after renaming it in magisk22.zip
reboot the tablet
install magisk22.apk (the same as before)
install riru module via magisk and then xposed apk
The tablet is slooow but I managed to get a 68-127 (single-multicore) in geekbench5.
But well, I didn't expect much from a tablet that I considered total garbage. I'm gonna use it as car tablet for maps and spotify, I will test it in the next few weeks. Thanks for all the work and if you need a tester, here I am!
Hello,

I have a Samsung Tab 3 SM-T113 too and I have installed the Samsung Tab E SM-T113NU rom on it. But now, on the boot, I just have the splash screen of LineageOS, and nothing more... it seems it indefinitely loops over splashscreen... After 8h, nothing...

I have tried to download the rom again (I can't check md5, no md5 on it), flash it again...

I have tried to reformat sdcard ext4, wipe all datas...

Same result...

If somebody has an idea, it'd be very appreciated...

Thank you !!!

P.S. : a special thank you to all those who work for the sustainability of these electronic products that end up polluting our landfills. thank you for the planet...

[SOLVED]

The twrp-2.8.7.0-goyave.img is the problem.
I have flashed twrp-3.0.2-0-goyave.img, reinstalled the rom, everything OK...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the ROM !!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is a custom ROM build to run on Samsung Galaxy Tab E (SM-T113NU).

    This work was based on Remilia Scarlet/Nguyễn Diệp Quỳnh code for SM-G360H phone (which uses Spredtrum sc8830, just like this tablet)

    Working
    Wi-FI
    Bluetooth (file transfer tested only)
    Sound
    Rotation

    Not working:
    Camera
    Offline charging

    Prerequisites:

    • Galaxy Tab E SM-T113NU (reported by some users that works on T116 models, but this is not guaranteed)

    Download links and source:
    Please check my github (pstglia, repository local_manifests, branch T113NU_COM_A_MAO_NO_BOLSO)
    • Download link for compiled ROM can be found on README file.
    • All repositories are mapped on local manifest (core33g.xml )
    • branch used for all repositories is "T113NU_COM_A_MAO_NO_BOLSO"

    Anyone i forgot to mention

    Note 1:
    This version of TWRP does not populate ro.build.product, blocking a generated package to be installed
    So, if you compile from source "brunch core33g", you can apply the following workaround for you generated installation package:

    1. Unpack generated package into a blank directory
      Code:
      mkdir /tmp/lineage-pkg
      cd /tmp/lineage-pkg
      last_gen_pkg=$(ls -tr ${OUT}/lineage-14.1-????????-UNOFFICIAL-core33g.zip | tail -1)
      jar xvf ${last_gen_pkg}
    2. Edit META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and replace this:
      Code:
      getprop("ro.build.product") == "core33gdx"
      by this:
      Code:
      getprop("ro.build.product") != "core33gdx"
    3. Create a new "patched" package
      Code:
      cd /tmp/lineage-pkg
      jar cvf lineage-14.1-patched-UNOFFICIAL-core33g.zip *

    Note 2:

    If you face a bootloop, you can try formatting your efs partition as described bellow (AT YOUR OWN RISK!)
    https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79995765&postcount=42

    Version Information:
    ROM OS Version: Android 7.1.2 Nougat
    Kernel Version: Linux 3.10.17

    Those who want transparent navbar ,statusbar,lock screen,etc just got to system/bulid.prop and change ro.config.low_ram=false.

    Succes on sm t116 nu. But sim not detect. Please help me

    This is expected. This image targeted T113NU, which is a wifi-device only.

    In order to enable SIM, you'll need to change a few things and rebuild the image... Some I'm aware of:

    1) On device/samsumg/core33g, commit 4b9bfeea95c1b61ddaa42ec97884290c698311b5, revert this:

    Code:
    -$(call inherit-product, vendor/cm/config/common_full_phone.mk)
    +$(call inherit-product, vendor/cm/config/common_mini_tablet_wifionly.mk)

    -PRODUCT_CHARACTERISTICS := phone
    +PRODUCT_CHARACTERISTICS := tablet

     # RIL
    -bin/rild
    -bin/modemd
    -bin/nvitemd
    -bin/phoneserver
    -bin/ext_data.sh
    -bin/ext_kill.sh
    -bin/ext_symlink.sh
    -bin/prepare_param.sh
    -lib/libril.so
    -lib/libreference-ril_sp.so
    -lib/libsecril-client.so
    -lib/libsecnativefeature.so
    +#bin/rild
    +#bin/modemd
    +#bin/nvitemd
    +#bin/phoneserver
    +#bin/ext_data.sh
    +#bin/ext_kill.sh
    +#bin/ext_symlink.sh
    +#bin/prepare_param.sh
    +#lib/libril.so
    +#lib/libreference-ril_sp.so
    +#lib/libsecril-client.so
    +#lib/libsecnativefeature.so

    2) On device/samsung/scx30g-common, commit 836dcac836c967c01afd184728035f1396878f12, revert this:

    Code:
    -BOARD_RIL_CLASS += ../../../device/samsung/scx30g-common/ril
    +#BOARD_RIL_CLASS += ../../../device/samsung/scx30g-common/ril

    # RIL

    -ro.msms.phone_count=2
    -persist.msms.phone_count=2
    -persist.msms.phone_default=0
    -persist.msmslt=0
    -ro.modem.w.count=2
    -persist.sys.modem.diag=,gser
    -sys.usb.gser.count=4
    +#ro.com.android.dataroaming=false

    +#sys.usb.gser.count=4
     ro.ril.hsxpa=1
     ro.ril.gprsclass=10
    -ro.telephony.ril_class=SC7730SRIL
    -ro.telephony.ril.config=setPrefNwTypeOnUnsolConnected,sim2gsmonly
    -ro.telephony.ril.socket_name=rild,rild1,rild2
    -ro.ril.telephony.mqanelements=6
    -persist.sys.sprd.modemreset=0
    -persist.sys.sprd.wcnreset=1
    +#ro.telephony.ril_class=SC7730SRIL
    +#ro.telephony.ril.config=setPrefNwTypeOnUnsolConnected,sim2gsmonly
    +#ro.telephony.ril.socket_name=rild,rild1,rild2
    +#ro.ril.telephony.mqanelements=6
    +#persist.sys.sprd.modemreset=0
    +#persist.sys.sprd.wcnreset=1

    3) On device/samsung/scx35-common, commits 196c486aa6d920605b1a4380b7e74e3ef2dc9c60 and aca63492df0dd40d170a44dee834fdaf96f33013, revert this:

    Code:
    -       modem_control.rc \
    -       modemd.rc \
    +       #modem_control.rc \
    +       #modemd.rc \

    Probably kernel config will have to be changed in order to enable some modem/radio support...
