new build with April 2020 security patches from google. :good:
Note#1: This build passes safetynet. You no longer need magisk or any changes to build.prop. :highfive:
Note#2: This build has a major change which includes the vendor img.
Just want to say thank, it is all good. With Magisk installed, mine passed safetynet ... not sure if I am going to use Google Pay on the N6P as this is my backup for play, mostly on WiFi.
No issues on mine with vendor img thus far, everything is good. (See below)

dirty or clean flash? im on the march build
On March 2020's unofficial build, I assume - like me. I only wiped cache & dalvik, TWRP 4-core only has been backed up previously. Dirty flashed just fine + EX kernel. Just had to sideload the BLOD Injector zip file or else, it won't start up.

SOT & battery life is very good as the OEM battery was replaced (battery health is at 98% based on AccuBattery results ... 6:40 usage as configured, 63 hours combined use or 103 hours screen off/standby - depending on settings tweaked & configured (mostly on WiFI.)

I upgraded from lineage-15.1-20200309-UNOFFICIAL-angler to lineage-15.1-20200426-UNOFFICIAL-angler and it no longer picks up my network card. Please advise. Thanks.

Got it, I had to disable my security pattern. Thanks.

oh, sorry about that. it seems that's an unfortunate side affect of building the keystore hal from source, instead of using the old one that came with stock rom.
so yeah, anyone updating to 4/26 build notices their sim card is not recognized, they just need to change lockscreen security to none and reboot and it fixes it. Then you can change it back to whatever lockscreen security you had before, if you want.

Your battery is probably shot. I sold this phone when it started rebooting any time I used the camera below 75 percent battery. If it's the original to the phone, you're lucky it made it this long

Using this along with microg gives a pretty good boost to the phone . even on 4 cores the phone feels smooth enough . thanks for keeping it updated . now I just gotta fine tune the CPU Governor

Wdym by microg? can u pls elaborate? thanks.
Microg MicroG is basically a replacement for google play services but occupies less space and memory . Its in development and can be quite buggy

Also a lot of people may not like this but i like to curb the notifications and hence distractions from my phone by aggressively greenifying all the apps and opening only when i feel like ; this may have a slight contribution to the performance

Upgrade to latest build question

I upgraded to lineage-15.1-20200602-UNOFFICIAL-angler.zip today and did the basic wipe in twrp-3.3.1, then installed magisk 20.4. When I rebooted I lost all my settings and programs and had to re-install all my apps. How can I upgrade and retain my settings? Thanks.

Thank you for for your effort! Because of you my mother can still use her 6p :).

One question tho. I flashed the migration zip and then this release. It all worked fine but the vendor security patch level is on 5 October 2018. Is it because that was the latest vendor patch release from google? If it so, why haven’t lineage complained about it in earlier releases then?

Hi NUMAFlex, is there a download link for the NetHunter kernel I can use for this ROM?
    Any special instructions to obsurve?
    Thx in advance.

    Sure ting Lucius!
This is the one i WAS using, there was a new version of nethunter like last two days so i haven't the time to rebuild it.
(I don't do sh**t on them, all credit to Re4son/Kimocoder/Jcaduonno/All the nethunter cats, i just run a python script and so on...) But i will post it again as soon as i have it.

    And that's what i do:
1- Flash the stock Google image
Allow for it to reboot (check if it shows the colorful wheel as it boots)

    2- Flash TWRP
Boot to twrp with a usb stick with all the Zips and MD5s

3- Format everything, reboot to twrp, format Media/Internal storage
    Reboot to TWRP

4- Now i just TWRP-flash everything together in that order:
LOS, OpenGapps, Magisk and the Kernel
(in my experience it allows to boot right with mobile signal without the need to make that trick from the lock screen options)

    And just that.

If you find any wrong doing on my side, please, let me know. Any doubts also, if i can help, just hit me.

Happy & healthy September 2021 to all ... dirty flashed to latest build, running 4 cores only with the recovery patch as before. It's all good for me.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock android for your device.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. If you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Wiki.

    Important Info
To flash this rom you need TWRP 3.2.0-0 or newer. https://twrp.me/huawei/huaweinexus6p.html

Make sure you have the radio & bootloader img's installed from the stock oreo 8.1 OPM7.181205.001 Dec 2018 factory image.
They can be extracted from the factory image on google's site here. Or you can use the ones linked below that I already extracted:
    radio & bootloader img's: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=286833
Those img's can be flashed with fastboot command.

Note: There's an issue happening to some angler users on custom oreo roms. The first boot after flashing rom your sim card might not be detected. It's easy to fix. Just go to lockscreen security settings and change it to 'none' and then reboot. Then you can change it back to whatever you want. This only happens one time when you first flash oreo.

    Download Links
    rom: https://download.lineageos.org/angler
Note: LineageOS servers no longer make 15.1 builds for any devices. You can use my unofficial builds here. My older builds are here.
Note#2: if you want to switch from an official build to my unofficial builds, follow instructions here.
    google apps (optional): https://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html (Use arm64 / 8.1)
root su addon (optional): https://download.lineageos.org/extras Note: Use arm64 15.1 zip. After installing the su addon, you can enable root in developer options.

    Instructions
If updating from old unofficial to newer unofficial, follow the steps below:
    1. if you don't already have them installed, flash the newest radio and bootloader img's linked above.
    2. boot into twrp and flash the rom zip.
    Reboot & enjoy.
NOTE: if you previously flashed gapps and/or the su addon, there's no need to flash them again. They will be automatically re-installed during rom zip installation.
NOTE2: if you want to switch from an official build to my unofficial builds, follow instructions here.

If coming from a different rom:
    1. if you don't already have them installed, flash the newest radio & bootloader img's linked above. also make sure you have the newest twrp, linked above.
    2. boot into twrp and wipe system & data & cache.
    3. flash rom & gapps & su addon zips (gapps & su zips are optional).
    Reboot & enjoy.

    Weather Provider Addon (Optional)
For those that like the lineage cLock widget, here's the OpenWeather apk you need to get weather info.
    https://download.lineageos.org/extras
Grab the one for version 16.0. It also works with 15.1.
Note: You'll need an api key from OpenWeather.

So, you'll need the new august vendor img for the next lineage build.
The radio and bootloader img's are the same as in last month's update from google, so no need to flash them.
I extracted the img's from the august OPM6.171019.030.H1 factory image. You can get them here:

    5. bluetooth battery level was added to the status bar

Build breakage is fixed :good: https://review.lineageos.org/211131
So the next scheduled build on Monday shouldn't have any issues.

And all repos have been updated with April security patches and changes.
So when you flash the next build you'll need to update your vendor img to the newest one in the April OPM3.171019.019 factory image.
I've already extracted it so you can have it ready to flash on monday, here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=261872
The bootloader and radio img's are the same as what was in last months factory image, so no need to flash them if you already have them.
