Nice! Can we expect an official release? Also, is it stable enough for daily use? I'll check, and report if there are any bugs.
hei sodara sesama indo
how is it los 15.1 ?
any serious bugs ?
Totally stable for me, Redmi 4A is my only smartphone / used daily. Just SELinux isn't used and you'll see a warning message after booting that SELinux isn't "strict". Everything else is fine.

i flashed it flawlessly Bro. full wipe, clean flash, root with Su. removed few unneeded apps too.
xposed n lucky patcher works too. no issue at all so far for 3 days usage. battery just fine. Playing MOBA n PUBG also fine no serious lag, xcept when the network goes down ?

apparently no spectrum support. does this LOS 6.2 based on FABIAN tree ? i really like to try to flash ngntd kernel to overclocking.
or can u suggest me a good custom kernel ?!

bout the SELinux, i still dont understand, is it permissive ? it isnt enforcing that im sure. i want to try viper sound

where / how i can change system font ?

sory for my bad english n noobness in this forum.
i had been a big fan of LOS since it CM9.

@Lost149ers: In "Security & privacy / Trust" it says "SELinux: Disabled", on the bottom of the "About phone" page it's written "SELinux status: Permissive". In July 2018 AlexDeltax wrote "Without selinux it's useless anyway." - so as long as SELinux is disabled, the status is irrelevant. Alex tried to fix SELinux, but doesn't have much experience with writing rules for it, his tries failed during build or he got a bootloop.

I am just an average user without any knowledge in programming at all, so I can't help and also can't say anything about other kernels (also never changed a font in Android). It would be great if there would be additional programmers who could help continue developing this ROM.

n this Rom is great n stable anyway. i think im gonna live with this Rom till i get bored n changing to AEX ?

or i will try it out to flash every custom kernel n viper myself. TRIAL BY FIRE ?.
its not that serious problem to flash this rom again or just go back to AEX

i will be back with report

@AlexDeltax I saw you realized auto-updates within the system-settings right? So we don't have to manually download the ROM from https://los.genix.space/builds/full/ anymore.
This step is highly appreciated, thanks a lot for your work and continuation of providing latest security updates! :good:
Any change (other than security update) that you notice with 20190405 build?

And do you know why there's no md5sum and sha1sum provided for 20190405 build?

I didn't see any other change so far, probably there isn't any apart from the security updates (security patch level is March 5 now).
Alex isn't the original developer of this ROM, it was 33bca, who sadly suddenly simply disappeared and didn't answer anything in this thread or any private message. But Alex was so kind to share the ROM (based on 33bca's) he continues to update with patches himself with us. Don't know why there's no md5sum and sha1sum, but shouldn't be a problem for him to add.

OTA updates exists since summer 2018. There was plan to update ROM every month. As there is no interest of community in active fix of bugs in oreo I didn't make automatization for building and pushing ROM on OTA server till official add to LOS repos.
Don't know what to do for now as currently I don't have this device. Security updates and kernel patches I can make till end of LOS 15.1 life. As to global fixes, not sure.

Hello,

I have a redmi 4a. I installed miui 10 via MiFlash tool ('clean all' option). Ok. Boor on miui 10.
Startup on fastboot mode (vol - + power on).
On pc, the adb-fastboot drivers are installed. Such is recognized.
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (whatever the twrp 3.1, 3.2 or 3.3)

I finally have access to the twrp boot. But I'm stuck on the 'Mi' startup screen.
In addition, in TWRP, I have this:
Failed to mount / data and unable to find the end of the crypto block.
Failed to dismount '/ data' (invalid argument)
Unable to recreate the / data / media folder

Stock ROM has DM verity enabled, if it sees any modification made, such as installing TWRP it won't boot.
Just flash the attached no verity zip in TWRP and then reboot, that should get you booting in to system

Yes the zip works with all TWRP version 3's. You only need it if you want to boot back in to stock ROM. If you are going to flash a custom ROM then it won't be needed.
If you search for Lazy Flasher here on XDA there are threads that will explain what DM verity does.
