No, You need to downgrade to A16 Firmware for any ROM's to work. we're working on using ROM's to work on c04. but can't promise a date

I'm on Realme UI C.04 and would like to install this. If I'm understanding correctly, I need to downgrade to A16 (which is probably Color OS 6 and Android 9)

I haven't unlocked the bootloader yet, could you please point me to a step-by-step guide so that I don't screw up and end up with a soft-brick? Thanks in advance. Appreciate your help in advance.

EDIT:
Nevermind. Got it here. There's a section in the OP that talks about downgrading: https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-xt/how-to/guide-unlocking-unbricking-custom-t4045505

Always on display issues .

I tried the ROM . The always on display has an issue . Always on display is so dim (it's not visible properly ). And also is there any way to use the gestures to go back while typing in keyboard like it's there in the realme ui?

Hello @Krishrocks

Thanks for the effort to port LineageOS to realme xt.

Is there a chance of an updated release or maybe an official version?

EDIT:
I see that the current version of stock rom is RMX1921EX_11.C.08. Is it possible to directly replace it with you version of LineageOS? Or is it necessary to downgrade the stock rom first?

I cannot for the life of me get this ROM working, I keep getting stuck in a bootloop, every other ROM worked fine for me, here is what I tried:
-Wiped every partition
-Clean installed the ROM
-Formatted the Data partition
-Flashed the optional ROM file on top of the cleanly installed ROM
-Flashed the dtbo.img after flashing the ROM
-Literally replaced the ROM's dtbo.img with the one that's optional, and flashed it
I'm at a loss here, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, can somebody give me a lead here? I'm using OrangeFox recovery also

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    Device tree source code: DT
    Kernel source code: kernel-Sai

    Working:
Bumped Fingerprint to newer 1.1 HAL (Thanks to X2 @dev-Harsh)
    Fingerprint on display(Faster than stock!)
    Camera (and flashlight)
    WiFi
    Bluetooth
    Telephony (Calls and Data)
    Audio (Record and Playback)
    Video Playback
    Sensors
    GPS

    Broken:
    Nothing (?)

    Downloads:
    Gdrive Link:

    Installation::
    Reboot to recovery
    Format /system, /data and /cache
    Install LineageOS zip package
Optional: flash dtbo.img if coming from stock OS (COS or RUI)
Install [optional] a Google Apps package of your choice (Open GApps is advisable, but stock and super variants are not recommended!!!)[/STRIKE]

    Important notes:
GApps can only be flashed on clean installs.
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if Stock os was previously installed and device was encrypted.

Is it safe to install on Europe version rmx1921ex_11_A.06?

Is there the need to unlock bootloader or do something else?

Europe versions have different firmware. Dont flash this!
