Not sure why you are having issues. I always dirty flash from the prior version. I use Open Gapps-A12-Full version for Arm 64 devices. Maybe NikeGapps is the problem?

After some time of consideration after final build of the old version was released I updated from 18.1 to 19.0 yesterday by clean install with NikGApps (Basic, 20211227) and I'm seeing the same as @Varakh: with Trebuchet I can open quick actions menu (like compose e-mail) but neither can move nor remove any icons. What worked for me was changing from Trebuchet to Nova Launcher (no big impact as I use Nova anyhow but had not installed it yet when testing).

In general I'm happy with Lineage 19 so far as being stable and fast, only camera is missed a bit (not that I do many photos but now and then I used it to read QR-codes). Big thanks to @followmsi for keeping our Pixcel C alive.

I have no root or Magisk installed. Just the ROM and OpenGApps.

Also some have issues with WPA3 encryption.

My WiFi networks are Hidden (Not broadcasting the SSID)
WPA2/Personal encryption.
I leave the Channel settings to Auto.

Just checked my dragon is picking up Channel 157 [5785 MHz] (5.785 GHz)

I think this is/was an issue with Trebuchet.
I did not have the time to check.

Unless you use a config script, OpenGApps Micro and above should remove the stock launcher and install Pixel launcher.

OpenGApps Pico and Nano do not replace the launcher.
OpenGApps Micro, Mini, Full, Stock and Super all replace the stock launcher with Pixel launcher by default.​

I had the same problem and could solve it by enabling the "Lock layout" option in the home screen settings - that sounds weird but it worked for me

I determined that the channels 36, 40, 44 and 48 work with lineageos 19 - channel 52 and above don't work for me (=> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels#5_GHz_(802.11a/h/j/n/ac/ax)).
Maybe it's a wrong or missing set of country for enabling additional frequencies?

My device connects only with WPA2 (although WPA3 is enabled). But that was also the case with Lineageos 18.

I am having serious issues with my Dragon. I can still get to the bootloader with the Power and Vol buttons. But, when I reboot to System I only get to the Google splash screen. When I reboot to recovery I only get the LOS splash. I can't get into System or Recovery. This may be a hard brick situation.

Also, ADB and Fastboot do not recognize my device, even though they work fine with my Pixel 2 XL. The ADB and Fastboot problem has been going on for several months, and may involve some microsoft update issue, while the above booting issues are new.
By the way I am using new cables and latest downloaded drivers. So they are not the problem.

So this may be it for my Ye Olde Pixel C.
Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

It seems Chromebooks and Pixel C store/read the factory country code the same way.
You can check your default factory country code in termial app like this ..

cat /sys/firmware/vpd/ro/region

If you have Magisk installed pls change country code for testing .. used "US" as example.

/system/bin/resetprop ro.boot.wificountrycode US

On Android 10 we have had DragonParts app to switch wifi country code.
This app is not working on 11 nor 12 .. needs major upgrade.

As well we have init_regions.sh script to read factory country code and apply as "ro.boot.wificountrycode".

If you have Magisk installed the script does not work correctly ..the path of resetprop differs in Android 12.
I have changed this today for next 19.0 build.

If changing wifi country code works you may change /system/build.prop and add ..

ro.boot.wificountrycode=US

In next build, including Magisk resetprop path fix, you will need to add ..

persist.sys.wifi.country_code=US

This will override factory country code accordingly.

EDIT: Actually DragonParts works on 11 and 12 .. now you need to reboot to apply changed wifi country code setting.

Today I have tested the new Magisk 24,0 .. seems to work well on Dragon.

You need to install "Universal SafetyNet Fix" modue to pass SafetyNet.

Changes:
- Fix for hanging Bootanimation
- Re-added DragonParts to change Wifi country code (Settings > System > Advanced)
- Kernel: Wireguard update

Tested with fresh Magisk 24.1 !

18.1 is stable, 19 is still in the works. 19 Mostly camera issues and some workarounds for other bugs.
