I am posting links to download six Android 13 ROMs for mi 8 lite.
...

Why. Why would you post these links here?
This thread is about the development of the LOS20 builds from the OP. Posting links to a variety of completely different Roms is totally off-topic. And also somewhat rude.

...
Friends, if you are interested and have time and patience, install and use these ROMs and tell others about your experience.
...

If you want to, go ahead and try other stuff. But don't come back here and share your experiences with something else in this thread.
For such experience reports you should use appropriate threads in the General or Q&A forums.

...
I have installed the lineage rom and I wrote the description on page 8, post #154.
...

Yes you did. But it didn't really bring any new light to the situation or answer pending question as far as I remember.
The OP contains a short description of steps how to install the Rom. Having e.g. an unlocked device is a prerequisite to install this rom and not a support topic inside this thread. For that help can be found in various other places on the forum or the internet in general.

I can see your wish to contribute with helpful information, and I don't want to demotivate you to be active on xda. I just want to ask you (and everyone else in general), if the content you want to post is not in any way related to the thread you are in and/or is not in the scope of it (e.g. development thread in the dev-section vs. a general experience thread in the general section), please take the time to find, or create if not present, a fitting thread in the fitting section.

4.19... Kernel touch screen does not work as stated already in one of my previous posts.
Had to go back to older version with format data.
Replaced the boot.img from 20230506 and it seems to be fine, still testing.

I honestly don't understand, I thought the bank apps didn't run because of safetynet, fixing and still not running.
In the first Lineage with kernel 4.19(2023/03/09), size 1,100gb worked

Hi all ! Just tried the latest version (20230525) and everything works fine for me (including TouchScreen and safetyNet pass). Thank you for your work @sabar_op.

I don't know why but I can't managed to make TWRP 3.7.0-4.19 work on my device (stuck on TWRP splashscreen) and I had a bootloop when flashing the ROM with TWRP 3.7.0-4.4.
So I used the LOS-20.0-platina-recovery from @9Lukas5 and the install finished succesfully.
For information, I was updating from this ROM : lineage-18.1-20220616-nightly-platina-signed.zip

Ciao a tutti ! Ho appena provato l'ultima versione (20230525) e tutto funziona bene per me (inclusi TouchScreen e pass safetyNet).

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a noob at flashing ROMs, but I have an old mi 8 lite I bought in china a few years back and want to escape the nightmare that it miui 😝

Anyway the sticking point is that as I said I bought it in China and it has the Chinese ROM and am wondering if TWRP and ROMs meant for the plantina/global version of the phone will still work on mine? I've searched online but can't for the life of me work out the specific model I have, all it says is it being 'mi 8 lite' (see pic).

If anyone can tell me how I can find the specific model/ if I can flash the recovery and ROMs for platina on my phone it would be much appreciated!

Bootloop is fixed but camera does not work, video recording is not working, foto mode does work sometimes, selficam is working for both modes (Video and Foto)

Camera is working with built in camera application, don't expect too much with other application.

Here is the explanation of the problem, on page 1 of this forum
    Ah, I see, alright 👍🏼

Hadn't on my mind that you're refering to a previous post of yours.
Looking through the posts on those 4 pages I can see the following:

    - The stock camera app was discovered to have it's UI freezing often times.
    - Third party camera apps where tried and found to have similar behavior
    - The dev asked for a log multiple times
    - It was tried if the newer device tree fixes it, but it didn't

Current state is (and hasn't changed anytime in the last weeks) that camera controls of various apps often freeze on taking a picture and you'll have to close & reopen the camera a bunch of times until it finally works.
Also, once the camera takes pictures, it does so fine multiple times for me until I close it again. I can reproduce this behavior with the stock camera app, OpenCamera and also in Signal.

That means your issue is already known with no quick fix for it in sight. But with close&reopen trial&error it's atleast possible to take pictures anyways.
The dev is currently working hard on bringing our device up to a newer kernel version. Once that's done these things can be reevaluated. Until then I'm afraid the current state is what it is and likely won't change^^

Hey all, in case I'll compile builds here and there again, what would you prefer emoji wise?
I started switching them back on Android 11 because I were missing some of the newer ones and took the chance to use the Apple ones as I thought they look overall a bit better.

But these were just my own private builds an I'm not feeling too strong about using the Apple ones atm, so what would you prefer to have built in?
Please leave a reaction on this post, let's say:
    - for the Google Emoji Font
    - :ROFLMAO: for the Apple Emoji Font

    See attached image for comparison:
