Try to flash new fota twrp 2.8.6.0, it's working for me, 100%
I'm very interested to try this rom, however I have a few questions.

- Is the stock camera included and working just as good as the rom by Sony?
- Are there any audio/sound enhancements included such as ClearAudio+ ?
- Do we get image enhancements such as X-Reality & Super-vivid mode?
- Is the battery life any better than the stock Sony rom?
- Is this rom stable as a daily driver? Any bugs, force closes/reboots or lag?

Anything else missing such as camera features?

Thanks.

Hi, I answered as good as possible inside your quote

- Is the stock camera included and working just as good as the rom by Sony?

It won't be the same as on stock because you don't have DRM keys on aosp, etc.

Stock Sony camera isn't included. It's another app.

- Are there any audio/sound enhancements included such as ClearAudio+ ?

No stock sony sound enhancements included, I think just equalizer (I didn't flash it yet)

- Do we get image enhancements such as X-Reality & Super-vivid mode?

No

- Is the battery life any better than the stock Sony rom?

Probably yes

- Is this rom stable as a daily driver? Any bugs, force closes/reboots or lag?

I didn't test it yet

Anything else missing such as camera features?

I don't know

Thanks.

Thanks for your response Aronuser.

I wish there was more feedback with regards to this rom. Seems no one has tested the rom!

That said, I really do wish to try the rom but I don't have a lot of free time just yet...

Why dont you use stock 5.0.2 with Xposed GB? I flashed this PAC rom last week (but now back to stock because GB has all features I need), and I have some feedback:
-camera: all CM based rom must unlocked bootloader to use, that means you will lose DRM key, but I do some comparations with photos between 2 roms and notice nothing different. Photos in night (dark room with flash on) is really good.
-sound: dont have anything relate to sony, only AudioFX, but in my opinion sound is better than sony in 5.0.2 (louder speaker and headphone), because in stock 5.0.2 sound is really really low, very bad.
-battery: good as stock, maybe better, but sometime it has low charging current, this makes more time to chartge your phone.
-screen sometimes goes dark if your phone temperature increases.
-dont have option to set double tap/long press function to back/home/recent buttons.
Otherwise no call lag at all, wifi, 3g, ram, cpu, screen smoothness, camera speed are so far so good.

^ Thank you so much for the reply lemonade. As of now I'm using stock 5.02 with Xposed.

I'm just surprised there are hardly any roms available for our Z3. I only just upgraded from a Z Ultra to the Z3.

There were many roms available for the Z Ultra but very few for the Z3. Why is that?

Previously I was using Resurrection Remix rom on my Z Ultra and it was one of the best roms I've used. Bliss Pop wasn't bad either.

Thanks for all the help... I will try once more over the weekend with the suggested kernel and by editing the updater-script. I'll let you all know how i go.

BTW, does anyone know if there is an alternative for Halo, which is featured on Pac rom, for lollipop? As i am always handling matters on my mobile, that multitasker makes life so much easier!

Z Ultra is almost 2 years old. Z3 compact only 1/2 year. PLUS: For the ability to root device without loosing DRM really some months passed. So developement of custom roms actually justed started ...
Maybe some exercise in patience  ... and sugguestion: START BUILDING CUSTOM ROMS yourself :good::laugh: Resurrection Remix (based on CM) is really easy to build!

I already unlocked the bootloader and lost my DRM keys the day I bought my Z3. :)

If I had the knowledge and time to build custom roms, I would love to!

I have just one simple question if you may help. What lines in the mixer paths do I increase for loud speaker and in-call volume? The volume i slightly low when making phone calls and playing music through the loudspeaker. Thanks.

I've just started compiling roms 2 months ago either. I got everything out of 2 tutorials. But time is needed, yes. In call volume is an issue on my Z3C too. Volume is really too loud . I tried some adjustments in mixer paths that did'nt help and I gave up for now. I think/hope it will be solved very soon by CM.

Volume Bug:- When I play a song the volume is all okay in the start but then suddenly the volume drops.
And then I have to restart the player for a volume boost again

Been using this ROM for a few days now and it's awesome, battery life is good and no FC's Excellent work!! :good:
Can you give us more information with regards to the rom such as:

Speed & Smoothness - Super smooth and fluid, no lag & well optimized?

Camera - As good as stock? Better, worse or the same?

Sound quality - Same as stock or has it been increased, boosted and improved?

Screen options - Is Super vivid and X-Reality mode available?

Battery Life - Better or worse than stock Lollipop 5.02?

Bloatware - What has been added and removed?

Stability - Fully stable or any sort of bugs?

If all is good I might just flash this rom and give it a try. Just awaiting your feedback.

The ROM is super smooth,

Awesome job jonte28.

Keep it up :)

Thank you very much :)
Lucky for some. I only WISH it was compatible with Xperia Z3 D6633 Dual Sim. Heck I can't even flash the rom, I get error. :(

I don't require the second sim to use, just the one sim but whether using TWRM or CWM it fails when attempting to flash.

@ The op, can you not make D6633 Dual Sim compatible with this rom?
