yay. I boot my "matisse" with your Android build and it run perfectly. The YouTube app which previously its laggy so much but now it's run very well.
The only problem what i had is a power which sometimes when i use my tablet, a minutes later it suddenly get powered off itself and also the battery is drain so easily. Just that. Other things they're work great.
So, is there a solution for that problem?

SIncerely,

Thank you sir for all your good work. I was able to give my SM-T530nu a new life! I am able to run all the newer apps and very pleased.
Just curious if any plans to enable 5g wifi?

Hey,

got SM-T535 and was honestly confused if thats MatisseLTE or MatisseWifi.
Im glad the (newer) -Wifi Build prompted an error and wouldnt flash, so I could use the (older) 2022-09-13-MatisseLTE Build from your androidfilehost.

Flashing and Booting worked.

Thanks for your work.

BTW: You say, the newest versions are on Telegram.
Well, I dont use that service. May you update your androidfilehost or put it somewhere else?

Thank you alot

Hello matteo, thanks for keeping this old lady alive.

While (mostly) everything works, it feels quite slow and laggy for me in general (even after updating the most recent lineage-18.1-20220913).
Things like apps/menus taking several seconds to open or the System-UI crashing every now and then.
I only use OpenGapps pico and a handfull of random apps on the Tab so it isn't really bloated either.

Is there anything else to update than the ROM itself or am I missing something?

Thanks either way,
Aequita

    @matteo0026 stupid queston maybe.

Can I flash the matisse Feb 2023 OTA over the
matisse (10.1) devices (until 2022-09 build) without factory resetting?
You should go fine. To be more safe, take a backup before updating

hi I installed the latest build taken from telegram for matissewifi. I first updated the stock and did all the necessary wipes, the problem is that here in Italy the 5ghz wifi frequencies range from 1 to 128 as a channel. and with these custom roms I can see the 5ghz wifi signal only if I set channel 128 on the modem. while on all the other channels the signal is not visible. would it be possible to do something? could you make a fix? same thing on crdroid, lineage 16 and 17. hope for your help

Hi, here it works fine with channel 48, but even the other ones work just fine. The problem is with higher channels, like 15*.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Installation instructions :
    • Be sure to have installed latest TWRP recovery (you can find it in downloads) and latest Android Lollipop (5.0.2 for matisse, 5.1.1 for millet) firmware
    • Download the latest build and GApps (ARM) - if you'll go to wipe even internal storage, put them on a microSD or an USB OTG, or copy them after wiping it
    • Boot to recovery mode
    • Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select system, data, cache and dalvik/art cache (and, if you want to clean more, select even internal storage, which deletes all the content in /sdcard) and do swipe to wipe. When it finishes, go to home page
    • Install > select ROM zip file > swipe to flash and, when it finished, go to home page
    • Do the same thing to flash GApps
    • Reboot > System
    Update instructions :
    • Be sure to have installed latest TWRP build
    • Download the latest build
    • Boot to recovery mode
    • Install > select ROM zip file > swipe to flash and, when it finished, go to home page
    • Reboot > System
    Known issues :
    • Some randomic minor issues with YouTube app (sometimes, after skipping ads in a video, you'll get just a grey screen - close and reopen video to fix the issue)
    • Some randomic issues with bluetooth MAC address (bluetooth app crashes always). To fix this, you need to get (take note!) the address by going to stock ROM and getting that from Settings > About tablet menu. Then, come back to LineageOS 18.1 and rewrite the file /efs/bluetooth/bt_addr by using root permissions and a root file explorer, or by using adb push/pull, better in TWRP.
    • 5 GHz WiFi networks between channels 149 and 161 are invisible to the Tab

I've found the issue. By touching the ramdisk, CPU governor is set to performance instead of interactive. I'll fix it in the next build.
