I installed os from link above in twrp, format data and boot, set-up phone and run yasnac because play store said device is not certified. No magisk no root installed just unlocked bootloader. What did I do wrong?

go to developer options and enable advanced restart menu but thanks ill add this as a default
There's no need to make it default (honestly it doesn't look good). People can always enable this in developer options. it's been there since ancient times.

I want to try it, but kind of afraid of what harmful it could hide.

Its safe to use the rom as its based on deodexed eu rom currently none of those who flashed reports bootloop

Notes!
If your from custom rom you like oe evox eu rom etc need clean format data to be able to install this rom.
This is based from miui13.0.5 eu rom with added features need unlock bootloader!
If you experience black bar on your first flash the fix is just switch the resolution to 1080p vice versa on display settings
Use any android 12 encryption support custom recovery like orangefox for flashing this rom it is recommended

the v614 test build does support monet theme and its enabled by default no need for magisk module2
