Hello everyone, Jarl thanks for the ROM, keep on the good work. I've tested it for a week, so far there're a couple of issue that limit its usability for me and to which I've not found a solution:

1 - Battery usage is off somehow, even charging at 100% with phone on, every time I restart battery is around 75-79%, again and again. Tried those dubious calibration method, hasn't worked.
2 - I've got no 4G, and if I flash back stock Oreo I'm even without IMEI : I tried following this thread (forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/how-to/fix-persist-resolve-imei0-explanation-t3825147), but even flashing stock firmware, changing owner of those file won't get the IMEI back; oddly, flashing back your last build (FYI, the previous build resulted in bootloop to recovery) make the phone usable again, but with no LTE and with the ownership of rfs and hlos_rfs back to unknown
3 - Also, a minor issue, I made a clean install on full firmware Oreo (O dsp, O fsg, O bootloader, O gpt, O modem, as you say) but I still can't lower the volume while on speaker

Any help would be appreciated, please let me know if I can be of help with logs or similia.

Thanks for the ROM Jarl. I have used it for few days, it is really good. I am thinking of making it as my daily driver. I have a slight hesitation in using this build as it is signed by test keys. I have no experience in building a ROM. Is it possible for me to build one with private keys (release-keys) ?

I have found following articles to help me with this
https://medium.com/@daltonfury42/building-lineageos-for-your-device-a7d26ab50549
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...g/guide-how-to-build-unsupported-rom-t3844972

Are there any gotchas that i need to be aware of.
Can anyone help with this ?

Dark photos with the camera app.

Hello Dev, I would like to pass on what I experienced with the phone's camera, the photos are very dark even when the flash is activated when taking the photo.

1 sounds like a hardware problem. 2 make sure to clear modemst* partitions when flashing stock (also a working persist is REQUIRED). 3 what do you mean by lowering volume on the loudspeaker? Do you mean in calls? This is a known issue

Test keys are just public AOSP keys used for signing builds. Maintaining release keys releases are a pain since they are lost upon migrating machines, and migrating between keys for the end user is a pain as well (requires a clean flash every time keys are changed). If we ever get official support those will ship with release keys from LineageOS

Known issue, fixed in the latest test builds.

Do you know whether LOS 17.1 will get november security updates this month, and ... whether you are going to implement them? :fingers-crossed:
https://source.android.com/security/bulletin/2020-11-01

Seems that I can't find any info about this on los official page, xda los subforum, reddit and so on. I have checked even github, but I was lost in all repositories and don't even know which should I even check for such info.

Once these are merged November patch will be released

11-15 13:07:15.321 E/ANDR-PERF-RESOURCEQS(637): Failed to apply optimization [2, 0] in this new build spam in everything except for performance and power save in settings-> battery.

And here more avc warnings https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I3gjLEuWpIRZEJKgU32NoOBrHpkygCfn/view?usp=drivesdk
Yep, perf spam is a known (but not very important) issue.

The avc denials you gave me are ones that should not be resolved as it would compromise the security of your device.

oh i didn't know about the avc. Ok thank you very much and one last question: These spam messages can cause battery drain ?.
If so, to leave it in one that does not cause those spam messages

Hi,
Latest build works very smoothly.
I got the same odd behaviour of Google Services after flashing, with à 14% battery usage, as I wasn't using at all the Playstore. It seems ok after reboot.
Do you think I should reflash GApps to avoid such behavior with the next updates ?
