I would prefer staying on LOS 15.1 instead of using a buggy GSI, but LOS 16 would be cool.
But I suppose porting to LOS 16 will be quite some work. I managed to compile LOS 16 with the marmite device tree, but it did not boot up.

Didn't know there was an update, I've installed straight over last build, no problems.

I've been testing this ROM for the last ~4 Months on my second Swift2x without enabling Google Store and only using F-Droid Apps, which worked fine.
With the last release of this ROM i switched into 'Production' by replacing my real Phone.
I did a complete Re-install and used the latest Nano-Opengapps from 20181222, together with latest Magisk 18.0.
But now some of my Google-Store-Apps dont work anymore like before and i run these on a lot of different LineageOS-Installations on various Hardware.
For example the Google-Store App 'Dream Player' isnt able to check its Premium when started, because its 'not able to reach the Google Play Store'.

Do Google-Play Updates work? Is the device status "certified" in the Play app?
Any free app with problems? I have a device with Play services and Magisk here and could test
i'm also running it with Magisk 18 and all other Google-Store Progs work - even these with additional Google-Play-checks.
Theres just one App which 'doesnt reach the Store'.
It would be nice if you can test its build in Premium-Buy - for me just after clicking on it during 'firstrun' i get the Error-msg:

But there seems also another Problem:
When running the Phone for a longer Time (~4 Days) the built-in Camera-App isnt useable anymore - it just start and the Process dies.
Do you mean clicking on the ad-free button and then buying the premium in app purchase? I can get until the step, where I have to enter my Google password. I suppose when I enter it, I actually buy it. I have no use for this software though
I did not notice this problem yet - but I don't use the camera very often. Device is now running for 3 1/2 days and I can stil start the camera app.

For me the error appears just after clicking that Button and by that it dont even shows the Google-Shop.
Also strange with the Cam, but for now it seems the best ti just kill my whole Image and i'll do a complete reinstall.
in this build and the one before i had 2 problems.
1 sometimes it just freezes , blank screen not responsive , the only way too get it working again is holding the powerbutton to start again.
2 after some time , in statusbar , the location symbol stays on . needs restart to clear it again and only be there when its getting location update (problem also appears in pixel experience ).

I can confirm the second issue. But I had not freezes so far.
Did you check if the device is still alive, with only the display dead? (e.g. by trying do get a shell via adb) A real freeze without logs could be very difficult to find and fix. Unless you find a apattern WHEN the device freezes.

Yes, this ROM is 95% bug free, with fixed bug's, what appears in stoсk 8.1 Oreo. Last 5% not criticall at all, you ever never will notice them.
Issues like black screens - single cases. No one reported same glitch on 4PDA, not ROM bugs.
I had to leave this device behind and move to a new device running on stock without root access (Gosh that painful to type) and as such have not visited this thread/topic in a while.
OK so just glad to see how much things moved on and that the 8.1 oreo build is almost stable now. Am currently on Android ? 9.0 that still not bug free ?
The only problem I did find with this ROM was the sound. but I find out there are two versions to my phone (swift 2 plus) thanks to this thread.but the great minds who maintain this ROM fixed that, NFC works, so my banking app/contactless also works.battery life is good,with the location icon problem I only see that if I used the android TV remote app,(for some reason it needs location to be switched on) and if i turn that off in settings,I have to restart the to get rid of the icon.but then again,there is no 'best ROM in the world' for whatever phone.(or we all be using it!) I'm just glad there is still a developer (s) still working on this ROM. 14.1 or 15.1 lineage both have good and bad points.its just what you can or can't live with.

hi, the links keep giving me timeouts..
i tried to download the rom 5 time after 10mb or 100mb it says network error.
while other rom they downloaded fine..
