Beginning to understand why why I maybe I can't use terminal (or even terminal emulator) in emulator it states phone is read only.but I was told to use twrp in read only.so I can't make any changes at all? strange.

No mate, use twrp as "allow modifications", then mount system. Shouldn't be necessary really but best to ensure it is actually mounted, twrp can be fickle at times I've found!
Thanks for the advice, setup wizard now disabled but still trying to see what audio I have on my phone as sound sometimes disappears.

Can this be used if sound keeps disappearing?(Bluetooth works great) as I can't find which audio I'm using( terminal doesn't help ) and I can't find the adb command line.

I tried getprop ro.audio.custom platform too with blank return and then run getprop to search all, could not find this string

AFAIK if you get a blank return from getprop it means the property is simply not set on your device. You might try manually adding "ro.audio.customplatform=AW87319" to build.prop, this was also an issue with LOS 13.0 back in the day and it fixed sound issues for some people.

Strange, added that line to the build prop,it does work,but the sound issue is random now.mainly with the odd YouTube video or if I stop using my music player (power amp) then select play,the sound goes and I have to clear recents to get the sound back(as with YouTube)but phone calls work.
In a post earlier in this topic vm03 said "Swift2's has two hardware revisions, with AW87319 audio amplifier and without. Currently devices with amplifier has no sound"
If your device has audio amplifier, from what I understand then without the line in build prop there would be no sound. With that in mind, as you had some sound before addition of AW87319 line I would assume your hardware revision is without AW87319 audio amplifier.

Search the XDA / Web for a File called SW82-WF-MARMITE-8.1-UOS273C-RECOVERY.zip ( sha256: 72a0786998ac197c8deefa3433162a15d79c9f90e8bb2539a1755cded277cd2a ).

You need to format/delete *everything* in TWRP before installing - reboot into TWRP-Recovery - then just install like any other Custom-Rom.
You dont need to install any Gapps, because they're included in the Image - but you can install Magisk-Root right after.

Lasts I read its not smooth sailing on stock Oreo ROM currently. However yes you are correct in that this ROM does have some bugs/performance issues.
From month to month new builds will be complied for this ROM, unlike the stock one. The point of been in this thread is to help the development of this unofficial LOS 15.1 ROM by helping to test in various usage environments.
Thus giving quality feedback to vm03 will aid development of a stable version. Wileyfox don't seem this willing to listen to end users unfortunately.
If its a choice between this ROM or the stock one,I'd chose the lineage every time. the problem I have over interment sound issues doesn't compare with the battery, heat,USB cables issues etc with stock 8.1 all I see with wileyfox(or whoever owns it now) are more interested in just ads and you buying more phones than fixing the issues they have with Oreo.

Everything works great. I installed Magisk, so that I could install e.g Youtube Vanced
You know maybe some other cool magisk modules on Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus?
And one more thing. Or any camera application (.zip) to install in recovery work on Original Oreo software? if so, what?

- Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) fix
- WI-FI logging in wlan_logs folder deactivated now (need check)

@nikith290 just tested MTP on my comp,and I can now see my phone.on my phone my sound issue I has seemed to be fixed.(so far) was there a sound fix or more than likely just installing the update fix the sound? thanks for the ROM.
