I appreciate it. Thanks! ??TWRP. Link is in page 1 instructions.
This one did it for me. Internet is working again. Billion thanks!regarding WiFi:
do u had tried setting selinux to permissive?
.-
I don't understand the installation instructions from page
1. I have flashed the baseband package, way back when I installed 15.1 after flashing uSu - H812_20z_modem.zip.
This step is for UsU'd devices only:
If you have ever flashed the UsU baseband package: Clean flash the modem partition from your backup in TWRP.
If you do not know if you ever flashed it simply flash your modem partition again and you can be sure. This can't do any harm.
If you have no backup:
- TWRP flashable MM modems (N will not work)
Does this mean that the baseband is flashed with this ROM?
I have TWRP backups, but don't know how to clean flash the modem partition in a twrp backup.
Would appreciate some help here. I'm confused with the instructions.
Wait for the next build.. I guess you have a h815 or h811?This one did it for me. Internet is working again. Billion thanks!
edit: one question: how to I make it permanent? after booting the phone, I had to do setenforce permissive all over again.
edit: logcat file attached (don't know if I got it right, cause I've never used it before)
What about reading the announcement for that build and follow the suggestions there ?with 10/07/2019 build, i think something is broken with excange (???) / imap protocol (???)
whan i setup some imap email account in email lineage os app and even gmail, i can see only email header, when i tap to see email message it load forever and nothing appear
any suggestion?
Clean flash means just flash the modem partition . No baseband package. Read the UsU OP - topic "Making the baseband package obsolete" why.
steadfasterX, I'm sorry for my ignorance here with your instructions. I read the "Making baseband package obsolete" post and guess I understand that the baseband package for my H812 uSu device is not needed. I don't understand or know how to clean flash a modem.
Faq #1 from "[KERNEL][UsU][STOCK|TITAN] UsU patched kernel versions" provides instructions with this command included - "fastboot flash modem modem.bin".
Is this what you mean? Or is there a different method for doing this? I looked in TWRP and don't see a modem partition on the phone.

Yeah, I have the h815 version and tried the WiFi reset. I'll try once more the same "dirty flash path" as you did (dflash, reset + reboot). If it fixes it--so be it, if not--no worries. It'll work eventually. Great fun anyways, thanks.Wait for the next build.. I guess you have a h815 or h811?
Do you have tried the reset of WiFi as well??? I had the same issue here after a dirty flash and the reset + reboot fixed it here.

The OP of this thread links to TWRP flashable modems.
select the zip for your model, flash that in TWRP once and forget (as long as you use UsU ROMs).
Thanks again for the hard work on this Pie rom, the bluetooth fix and your patient support. Donation sent your way.
Yes, it doesn't work, but I don't use it anyway. Hahaanyone with los browser not working?
Yeah, but it is important to find out why! Maybe because of missing selinux policy? Try setting it to permissive to see if the browser works.Yes, it doesn't work, but I don't use it anyway. Haha
mmm if you are talking about this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79873143&postcount=341 i did every steps and clean flash as every timeWhat about reading the announcement for that build and follow the suggestions there ?

(as you may know already) exactly that specific vs986 issue when on verizon is tracked here: https://github.com/Suicide-Squirrel/issues_oreo/issues/21 (affects oreo and pie)Just flashed this on my VS986 and it went smoothly. I was rocking LOS 15.1 a while back when I was on ATT and I loved it. I stopped using it cause I switched back to Verizon and I had to switch back to stock since my G4 is my daily. Just to confirm for any other VS986 users you will not be able to make phone calls with this rom. Data works perfectly though.![]()
Thanks guys. I appreciate the work you guys do.
The part you missed was: I referred to the build announcement post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79873143&postcount=341mmm if you are talking about this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79873143&postcount=341 i did every steps and clean flash as every time
if there is something specific about my problem maybe i miss to read something else [...]

as stated in the announcement post yes, report as describedYeah, but it is important to find out why! Maybe because of missing selinux policy? Try setting it to permissive to see if the browser works.
I have also 2 apps that I personally use that do not work with selinux enforced, but they work when I set it to permissive.
What should we do @steadfasterX?
Should we report such cases to you, so that you will add something that will fix them? Or is it as it is?

I got GDroid and FDroid working but not downloading, too. anyone else?
as stated in the announcement post report as describedanyone with los browser not working?
