I record this movie to show you that in general LineageOS 16 goes much better than a regular six on G4 H815 However, you can try to use a tool for simultaneous optimization and for automatic deodex and you can put such a tool in the LineageOS 16 kernel

I replaced my failed oem battery with an Anker a6041031-152 3000mAh a few years back and have had no complaints.

well the SIM cannot be detected. this looks like a physical issue. Could you try with another SIM?

I can't atm but will try on the weekend I hope. Cleaned the Sim Tray and it's ok atm but it was rare and I just sometimes look up to the notification bar and there are no mobile network sign. It was strange because it never happened before I updated this newer version, that's why I thought it's an issue in the rom. Thanks anyway.

Hi, I'd like to know if I can install it and how could I do it. It's been so long since I installed a custom ROM in a phone (last time was in around 2016 to a S4 mini) and I'd like to install this one to my phone, but I'm not sure if I can cause I've read some stuff about booleader stack which I didn't get quite well and cause I think I might not be able to install it in my phone (explanation coming).

My phone model is country specific (H815AR) and I've updated it from my carrier's MM to Nougat (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-nougat-stock-t3659860). Thing is, in a part, it still shows that the firmware version is the old one (I have no idea why, screenshot will be attached), my bootanimation is still my carrier's and I can't change it (I tried pushing the original one with adb push) but still will show the old one after replacing, so I really don't know if they messed with the kernel, or the installation failed at some point even tho it wasn't reported or something. My phone hasn't any custom recovery nor unlocked bootloader, it's just SIM unlocked (by a code given to me by the carrier).

So all I ask is if you can give me a little more guidance if it's possible to install in my phone (cause thing is weird), that's it. Thanks in advance.

Huge thanks for this rom, my phone is like new, everything is smooth on my lg G4 h815 (official unlocked)

only one thing doesn't work for me and it has been already reported, it's Waze, and i d like to give you this information:

when i run Waze, and not moving it seems fine (in my home by exemple) but when i m in a car and using waze after 1 or 2 minutes it shut down, and go back to my home screen, i notice also at this time, my sim card is no more detected (i don't have problem with it usually) using airplane mode don't fix it only reboot help

maybe i ll try to give you some log if i can but i m not sure how to i ll take time later to read how to do that

but well, for other thing my phone is like new so i think i ll keep this rom on it

It is not like you are the only one having problems, so no worries in that part.

This ROM isn't perfect, but we can get closer to that by providing logs about the bugs we encounter to the developers, if you could share a log it would help a lot in the process. For example right now and for the first time I'm having issues with LOS16, sometimes it kick me out of any WIFI and then autoreboot. I will provide a log probably in the weekend.

P.S.: It doesn't happen every time.

UPDATE: FULL CLEAN SOLVED THE ISSUE.

Sudden reboots on a specific battery level is 99% the battery is too old. Replace it.

Hi sir thank you for your help...

My Lg4 come from warranty few months ago and they put a new battery and when i got the official firmware i dont got problems like this, i thinks is not from battery i think...

What you say the version 15.1 is better more stable less problems?
