I think there's only beacon kernel for nougat ROMs.

A few custom ROMs suffer from slow charging issue. Beacon kernel has quick charge too. So that'll help

Future updates releated to PA rom

As you know there is still no AOSPA Oreo Rom released yet, but the PA team is working hard to get it done. You will get AOSPA O as soon as they release their Oreo source . Meanwhile you can use this or other rom which suits your need.
As i earlier stated that EOL is final build and will not be further supported Oreo is coming SOON

Afaik, in N yes, but about O?? As we know what happened in aosip.. Their fully of caf based in N too, but finally in oreo they rebase to aosp with just some patch from caf. If im not mistaken it happened in citrus too.

I do, but AOSPA still in development, also i am little bit busy from my own work which help me to get some $ . So you will have to wait a lot this time meanwhile you can always use another custom roms like MIUI Carbon weeklies, LOS, cRdroid, DU, etc all good imo.
