Completely different SOCs and trees aren't anywhere near ready atm and I don't own device so it's a no from me sadly.@Sakuu can you consider a build for Sony Xperia 1 IV as well. I'm having the UK Version XQ-CT54 which has one physical sim and one e-sim.
Okay. Thank you for replying!Completely different SOCs and trees aren't anywhere near ready atm and I don't own device so no sadly
Now you have to crowdfund for him to get one lol...
I haven't tried a ringer mostly because I don't typically use one, but I have no problem with the vibration when a call comes in. I have accidently enabled do not disturb in the past though and caused this for myself. You might also check when you press the volume keys that the bell icon is at the top of the slider and not set to silent.Just got this ROM installed and all seems great, apart from phone calls, there is no ringtone or vibrate, anyone else have this issue?
Yeah, phone isn't in do not disturb, volume is set to max for everything, and sound works for all other notifications. If I set the phone to vibrate it does vibrate for phone calls.I haven't tried a ringer mostly because I don't typically use one, but I have no problem with the vibration when a call comes in. Just to update you, the LDAC issue has been resolved and it was due to me using AIDL Bluetooth instead of what bbn uses for official LOS which is HIDL Bluetooth 2.1 but now the extra blobs have been added which thankfully completely fixes LDAC, I also have some performance and battery life improvements (and maybe fixes for the darned AOD) but for now they will be added only to AlphaDroid (I will build PE+ at a later time)Okay, I've been running this since it dropped, and have a pretty good feel for the build. I still love it and it will continue to be my daily for the foreseeable future. Here's my current list of issues encountered for anyone looking to try.
- No LDAC support (although this is a known issue and other audio codecs work just fine.)
- Ambient display brightness is bright. Like annoyingly bright, especially at night.
- There is an issue sometimes with charging (maybe related to the battery health module) where the phone will just stop charging at points like 10%, 25%, and 50%. Unplugging and replugging will make it charge to the next step. It appears that at least sometimes the Pause Charging feature is activated when this happens, but I'm pretty sure it's done it without that being active too. More time is needed to find the pattern.
- There are some weird audio issues in some apps. I have seen strange behavior in at least Zoom and Jellyfin. They both work, but it can be wonky at times and require a restart to get them stable. I haven't looked at logs at all for this so have no idea why or what the phone is trying to do.
- Picture in picture sometimes causes the phone UI to crash. At least once I've had to do a full hard reset because it was completely unresponsive and locked up. Same as above for logs; it doesn't happen enough to justify the time to research the underlying cause.
- The Photo Pro app has a rare issue where it refuses to save the picture as it is taken. The app puts up a notification that says it's trying to save the file and it never does. The app has to be forcibly closed. This is the rarest bug I've run into on the phone though, only happening twice over the last few weeks and dozens of shots.
This is incredible news, thank you for the update. If it's already merged into the AlphaDroid source, I might see if I can find the time this weekend to cherry pick the changes and build a PE image to test. If I can't find the time, I can just wait too. I'm pretty tempted to give AlphaDroid a try, but I just love the PE builds so much.Just to update you, the LDAC issue has been resolved and it was due to me using AIDL Bluetooth instead of what bbn uses for official LOS which is HIDL Bluetooth 2.1 but now the extra blobs have been added which thankfully completely fixes LDAC, I also have some performance and battery life improvements (and maybe fixes for the darned AOD) but for now they will be added only to AlphaDroid (I will build PE+ at a later time)
Nah if everything goes well I'll build PE+ right after releasing AlphaDroidThis is incredible news, thank you for the update. Yes, the server is currently down till tomorrow and more bugs keep piling on with Alpha so I wasn't able to build anything else lol...
If you need or want it, I'm happy to help build as well for this or Alpha or your others on my build server. I'm not in any particular rush and can wait, but if you want to get this out the door, shoot me your local manifests and I can take a crack at it.Yes, the server is currently down till tomorrow and more bugs keep piling on with Alpha so I wasn't able to build anything else lol...
uhhh well this is awkward... I'm on a April AlphaDroid build where LDAC is supposedly "broken" and I recently got a pair of WF-1000XM4's and as you can see LDAC is working just fine xDOkay, I've been running this since it dropped, and have a pretty good feel for the build. adb reboot bootloader
fastboot --set-active=a
fastboot flash boot_a [boot image]
fastboot flash vendor_boot [vendor_boot image]
fastboot reboot recovery
adb sideload <rom.zip>
BUT If you want to flash Magisk go to
fastboot flash boot_a [magisk boot image]
fastboot flash boot_b [magisk boot image]
fastboot reboot
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot recovery
adb sideload <rom.zip>
If you've had Magisk flashed before you need to reflash it again, go to the steps below the Clean Flash and do the same again, then reboot and you should still have Magisk
lol just join and add commits and code and stuff...or Make yours use dark mode by default but make it Amoled black including the boot animation...I have wait someone compile a pe for a long time, and I spend two weeks to make one, then there you are and I waste two weeks![]()
It looks just like a Pixel in pretty much every way. And this build even identifies as one to applications that care. It's just a much more beautiful screen and better resolutionPlease post screenshots to how it looks like and what we can get![]()
