....should be the proximity sensor.

Had this some time ago and if i remember right i had to disable some "in-pocket" thing. Seems it thinks you're touching inadvertently.

I have searched for this issue and I know I've seen something about it before but can not find the write up. Just flashed the newest update and I'm getting a black lockscreen with "Long press power button to interact"? It's a real pain and sometimes I just need to restart and try it again. Something needs to be deactivated I think but I can't remember what.
Help...

Hi, love the work thats been done on this ROM since the first pie builds, so much better and SO happy with how well the proximity sensor works now. I am however having some issues and just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing them? At the same time that I finally upgraded my ROM from an ancient Lineage build, I also replaced my smashed screen, broken side buttons and back panel. Since doing this, my fingerprint scanner doesn't work when my device is plugged in charging (still fine any other time), just wanted to know if this is some kind of known ROM/firmware bug or if I have potentially screwed my hardware up (dont have a whole lot of time to change ROMs and experiement as I need my phone for work and can't afford much downtime...)
I also have the notification shade run at lower and lower framerates the more notifications are in it, though it is far better than when I originally used this ROM on its first pie build.

hey, first of all thanks for the great ROM.

However I cannot make a iconpack from the playstore work. I found the option to select it in the crdroid options, but the icons wont change. Furthermore I dont want to use a third party launcher, so thats not an option. Any ideas?

It's just me or some toogles in QS menu cease to work after a while from rebooting, namely the Wi-Fi toggle, in the last build (OC version). Moreover, pressing the "settings" and "edit" icons in QS simple closes the shade without doing anything else. I've dirty flashed on top of the previous build and tried as well cleaning the /system folder. Same behavior.
Pattern unlock doesn't work either. It detects wrong patterns input but in case of drawing the correct one it simply won't pass from the unlock screen.

Clean flash maybe? My network connection is painstakingly slow, so I would like to come to this as a last resort only.

Edit: Reverted to last month build and everything is working fine again. Will skip the 0511 build apparently.

Update - 11/6 (8.8.30 firmware minimum)

- Android r40
- June security patch
- Added Q lockscreen clock style

Totally forgot to post the update for May here. I didn't notice any issues with it because I made a mistake and wasn't using it. I usually do normal build > test > OC build > test, since I use the latter and then I can just keep using it. Last time I made the OC first, so I had to go OC > normal > OC, but I accidentally flashed the April build. Given the minimal changes in recent months, I didn't notice until a few days ago.

Thanks for your work, gavin. I just flushed the latest build, and found that the weather in lock screen seemed not work with crdroid launcher(I didn't test it with pixel launcher). I did switch on the display weather option under crdroid->lock screen, but nothing happened.

I never use that feature but I enabled it and it worked. The launcher used wouldn't matter, but I tested anyway and it works in the stock launcher or Nova. The most likely cause of breakage would be that you've got location (Settings > Security & Location > Privacy > Location) turned off, or off for the weather info provider. To check the latter, go to Settings > Apps > See all x apps, then use the 3 dots menu at the top right to turn on 'Show system'. Scroll down to 'Weather Information Provider' and check it has the Location permission enabled.

well then, it is weird, I just checked, location is turned on as well as the location permission for weather information provider. I knew it worked on my last used build(the April build), but somehow not in the current one, I did clean flush every time. what is the recommended version of firmware for the latest build? still 8.10.11?

It's still 8.8.30, although 8.10.11 should be fine.

Anyone else having issues with the weather status on the lock screen?
