I have no mobile data?

Ive tried both the release on the 7th and 13th but no luck.

Ive checked with 2 sims and checked things like apn settings.

_update baseband
_reset network settings
_sim 2 can only use 2G so select the option gsm only option ..then you will get edge / 2G
_sim 1 can get 4g but you need to select 2G/3G/4G automatic option for it to work ...after toggling data on off it can take up to a minute to pick up the signal ...
_on some carriers in some countries data only works if you toggle on Roaming
you inserted the sim upside down ..

Tried those without success, however nuking the install and starting again from scratch worked.

I have a bit of a strange problem (2 phones for testing):

Wileyfox Swift 2
Flashes fine, works fine, both SIM cards work perfectly

Wileyfox Swift 2+
Flashes fine, works fine, SIM 1 cannot get mobile data. I've tried re-flashing multiple times, and cannot get it to work at all. It has the same problem running CRDroid 5.3 as well. Lineage 15.1 works perfectly.


Could anyone shed any light on this? I'd obviously rather be using my 2+ instead of the normal 2!

I tried to install this on my Swift 2X but got an 'update error 7' message. I found some instructions about editing the update-script file but that just led to a 'zip is corrupt' message. Any suggestions?

Are you sideloading? Did you try a different cable?

As far as I can tell... there are no updates. The OP's link is the only version of LineageOS 16 for the Swift 2*. I hope I'm wrong.
There's something we (users) could do to promote new updates and/or the official support from LineageOS?

well it's not an official build..the developer must ask to become official maintainer for our device ..so that is not up to you ...

you can find different builds or roms by looking inside the folders posted by both devs collaborating in the links by the developer..or at least the ones he wants users to see and download ..so since it is not a link to one single rom jnstead a folder you can look at the name of the files in the folder to see the latest or last build in the folder.

Thank you for the new update. It's great but there is one major annoying issue that I am facing on every Pie ROM available I wish you can fix:

Sometimes when turning the WiFi off and trying to turn it on again, it doesn't work and the system UI stops responding: restarting the phone solves the problem temporarily until it happens again.

@nikith290 I've tried to install your new build (8/7/2019 I believe) but in twrp it states wrong file format. I'm downloading the zip file via chrome. any help? thanks. Strike that....after reading up what the info in twrp said, this update needs treble recovery? so I'm guessing this 'update' is not for marmite? I did a fresh install of the last build at that is working. my own fault for jumping ahead and not waiting for a new post here.

you just need to install treble recovery ..there is a thread that explains how to make marmite treble compatible including installing twrp recovery for treble.

Thanks for the reply, but the only thread I could find was for project treble(XDA).and it states that after installing treble twrp, I must install things like a repartition script treble vendor etc. which means that's for treble roms/system images.i wait until a update for the marmite version of Los 16 comes out. cheers again for the reply.

On 4pda there is a new version of TWRP based on and made for lineage os 16.

The treble TWRP would also work fine I guess. Thats how I installed LOS 16 on my phone and it went fine without any problem

Does anyone flash any other of the treble items or just use their recovery?

I just used the treble recovery to install the latest update.its working for me so far.
