What glitches? I've been using LOS 16 for quite a while now with no problems. are the glitches down to using certain apps?
Hi - it was a few weeks back but I think the problem was random lock ups and reboots. I did have magisk installed with no modules. I needed to hide root for my banking app, I do not require magisk on LOS 15.1 other than that I find the battery consumption better on 15.1

Forgive me for asking, but will there be any more updates to this ROM?( and yes I know about not asking about ETA's) but this ROM hasn't been updated since at least march. or has development of the LOS16 ROM come to an end?

Modem problem

I came across an interesting problem. I currently live in France, but not for too long anymore. Yesterday, I switched providers from Orange to Free.fr. Obviously, I got a new SIM whilst keeping my number. Put in the Free SIM and no mobile data. Since my wife also has a Swift 2 and is also on Free, I put the my new SIM in her phone and immediately got a data connection, LTE, H+, Edge etc. Then I put her SIM in my phone. No data. I never had any problems with the SIM from Orange. I have a third SIM from Free used for a GPS tracker. Works in my wife's phone, not in mine. I also have a SIM from Telia Sweden (where we will move). Works in both phones, no problem.

We are both running the same build of this ROM, the same version of TWRP (3.3.1.0) and as far as I know, the same bootloader (TOS373J).

Here is what I tried, all with no luck:
- Wipe/factory reset and install the latest build
- Wipe/factory reset and install the previous 2019 build
- Flash the bootloader again
- Flash the bootloader from her phone to mine
- Wipe/factory reset install CrDroid latest build
- Tried all different combinations of APN, network mode, *#*#4636#*#* settings and combinations, to no avail

Finally, I decided to backup/restore my data to her phone and vice versa, since I will be driving over 3000 km next week and need the mobile data, she doesn't really need it. My new SIM works in her phone with my data and settings, her SIM doesn't work in my old phone.

One more detail: When I was restoring my data on to her phone, I accidentally restored the EFS partition from my phone as well. Of course, this erased all modem settings, IMEI and so on. I did have a backup of EFS from her phone, restored it and all is well.
So, I am convinced there is a difference in the modem settings between our phones, otherwise identical. How to find out what those differences are and, possibly, correct them?

Any clues?

I'm also experiencing problematic mobile data with this phone on LineageOS, which sounds very similar to the problem you described. Did you ever find out what caused the problem?
