Hi, I've been using this rom for a while now and I've noticed that recently, since the last 5 or 6 updates (I think), the lock screen no longer rotates. It only displays in landscape and has to be unlocked that way. Rotation only occurs after the screen is unlocked. Is that by design? And is there a way to enable rotation prior to unlocking so the device can be unlocked in any orientation?

On this i havent any influence cause its pe sources. I think los has this also

Will you be doing one with September patches? This is the most stable ROM I've ever had on my Pixel so I'd like to stick with it

just picked up a very mint pixel c off eBay and tried every rom available for it the last few days- your latest update has worked the best for me and I am having NO YouTube tv crashes as I was on the other ROMS (running magisk liboemcrypto disabler)

this makes me very happy.

Whenever I switch to that quality it stutters until I dial it back to something like 720p60 or just regular 1080p with no specific frame rate. Is that normal for the Pixel C to have an issue displaying video at that quality and frame rate?

Widevine L1 is revoked for our Device, so its L3.
Our nvidia blobs switch to sw decoding if liboemcrypto isnt available (with liboemcrypto Netflix and others dont work since Widevine revokeing)

Everyone writes that they have recalled L1 Widwine, but is it somewhere confirmed by something? Is there a list of devices or some news about it? In my opinion, these are just aggravated firmware bugs. The same was the case with the camera.

No clue, i saw the entry in telegram groug Widevine revokeing. The post is in los-17 thread.
I hope its a firmware bug, but with original Oreo its also without Widevine L1

Finally managed to fix my recovery and install this awesome ROM. Definitely it brings new life to my very loved Pixel C!!

- YouTube (Vanced, root version) works fine with all resolutions.

- Netflix from APKmirror works well as well. Just install the apk (no dpi) file instead of the apkm.

- BUT, as soon as Chrome browser updates, it crashes every time I attempt to open it. Tried cleaning cache and data but doesn't work. No themes/overlays used on Chrome.
Latest version in Play Store is 86.0.4240.75


I will keep an eye and post any other issue/interesting thing worthy to keep in mind for other users.

Btw, status icons (WiFi, battery, clock...) are not showing in home not home's pages. Maybe is something about my config or my Nova Launcher, but I was using it before with the same config backup and the icons where showing always except in full screen mode. ?
Any hint with this?

EDIT: Just found with a different wallpaper that the status icons are black but only on Home so, the got totally invisible when using a black/dark wallpaper.
Is there any way to change this?

Turn off location acces for the chrome app in android apps settings.

I was checking some options around and also found out that when connecting wirelessly to other device to screen casting (a brand new QLED Samsung TV), Pixel C reboots suddenly. I tried forgetting the TV and adding it again but didn't work. ??* It's a pity...

Just wanted to check, are you saying you are able to get Netflix in HD with the nodpi apk from APKmirror?

I had everything in HD on Netflix until today. I was not able to download shows and was asked to clear storage for the Netflix app. When I did, my status now shows L3 for widevine and I can only watch SD. I can now however download shows. Not happy.. *Frantically looking for last titanium backup*

Hey sorry for the late reply, I am in a travel...

I checked few things before departing and I found out that the content is not displayed in HD.
I know, it's not cool, it shouldn't be like that, SD content is not an standard used nowadays, but... it works ??* downloads are working and watching downloaded content too.

I think using Netflix in SD in the Pixel C as a secondary device is something most of us can deal with.

Doing some research I found that the problem in the Pixel C about the HD content in Netflix is 1st because Netflix supported devices for HD content, and 2nd because of the use of outdated chip codecs in the Pixel C hardware, which means... there is no way to play HD Netflix content never and it won't.

Anyway, this Netflix is something related to the hardware (and Netflix) itself and not the custom ROM... but it's good to share this information. I also struggled and spent a lot of time looking for the root of the problem and a fix. ??*
