Hey @ceracz just wondering if you are still active on XDA?
I'm sorry for inactivity here because I mainly communicate on Telegram where are many Pyxis users. But I know that many people visit XDA first when they are looking for the custom ROMs for their devices.
Some news:
- I'm planning to release several los18.1 builds but only with security fixes
- During last few days Pyxis was accepted as officially supported device by LineageOS org and it's development will continue with LineageOS 19.1 and I assume LineageOS 20 will be supported as well

Amazing news about LOS being official! I'll keep watching the Pyxis group on Telegram too in that case ;) also wanted to ask if you recommend people install your LOS 19.1 RC from Telegram or wait for the first release on https://download.lineageos.org/ ? Also wanted to check if either builds have your MIUI Camera module for Pyxis in the rom (https://github.com/ivecera/miuicamera_pyxis/releases)

A really apreciate the effort you spent in this device.
A lot of people do not use Whatsapp and Telegram for several reasons, that's why they are here at XDA.
Will there be the option to install the MIUI cam, as you did in LOS18.1? I mean it did work quite flawless and i have no clue, if there is a MIUI Cam package available.
Hope to see you back soon on XDA.

I joined the telegram pyxis group and lots of activity there!
The official Lineage release is out here.
New stuff to be integrated in the next build is here.
No MIUI cam for LOS 19.1 as of yet but I'm using a really good gcam on the offical LOS 19.1 build.
@ceracz has also started releasing unoffical LOS 19.1 builds with the fixes/new stuff before it builds on Lineage.
I recommend you get on the telegram channel for more updates/info (good FOSS telegram client I'm using : here).

Hello,

I can't flash the lineage file.
I installed the correct MIUI version in twrp but when I try to install lineage it says assert failed: update_dynamic partitions ( package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list"
Updater ended with error 1

what can I do to solve this?

Thanks for your advice.

Hi!

I just had the same problem yesterday, I fixed it using Lineage Recovery instead of TWRP. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I'm trying to use the gcam that you linked, but it keeps crashing. Could you explain which one and how did you install it?

Thanks in advance!

@Benjamin1989 you should have read the instructions  if you wanna use TWRP then @ceracz has made a dynamic twrp that can be used to install LOS, Gapps, magisk etc BUT you still have to fastboot the super_empty.img from a computer (make sure your adb and fastboot commands are up to date. Once that is done if you have the files on an SD card in the phone you can install the usual way. The 'official' instructions he gave are :
LOS Flash procedure using TWRP
Clean flash:

1. Enter fastboot
2. Flash twrp recovery fastboot flash recovery recovery-3.6.2_12-pyxis-dynamic.img
3. Reboot to recovery (press volume-up and type fastboot reboot)
4. DON'T enter password/gesture/pin (otherwise step 5 will fail)
5. Format data with yes
6. Reboot -> Bootloader
7. Flash super_empty fastboot wipe-super super_empty.img
8. Reboot to recovery (press volume-up and type fastboot reboot)
9. Copy LOS ROM, Gapps etc. to device by adb push
10. Flash LOS zip
11. Reboot to recovery (mandatory)
12. Flash Gapps and other zips
13. Reboot to system

For step 12 I highly recommend flashing the safety-net-strict-addon.zip if you are using banking apps (I did it even though I had Magisk with Zygisk and deny list and hid the app, with Universal SafetyNet Fix and MagiskHide Props Config 1 app kept detecting root but after flashing the safety-net-strict-addon.zip file all good ;) I used MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_112439.zip and everything is working great.

Type: Mi 9 Lite (pyxis)
Can it be installed from TWRP?
WHAT is the installation process? Based on MIUI.

@senseii is makisk and zygisk neccessary or enough to flash safety-net-strict-addon.zip + bufferfix in step 12? I would like to have gcam and paypal app. Thanks for the detailed instructions.
Flashing the strict addon should be enough if you don't need root access.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    GPL compliance:
    Device tree source code: https://github.com/SDM710-Development/android_device_xiaomi_pyxis
    Kernel source code: https://github.com/SDM710-Development/android_kernel_xiaomi_sdm710

    Compatibility:
Compatible with Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite / Xiaomi Mi CC9
Builds are based off the Xiaomi's Android 11 firmware.

    Downloads: https://mega.nz/folder/rXoS2KAA#ax9_pp5seIjrqyT7bigirw

    Required firmware: V12.5.2.0.RFCMIXM

    Gapps:
Tested by NikGapps (20211018) available at download location but you can use any.

    Additional features:
    • SafetyNet passes by default (Magisk not needed)
    • Fully featured MIUI camera v4.3 included
    • Anti-flicker (aka DC dimming)
    • Screen-off FOD
Clean installation (if you are coming from MIUI or ROM different from this LineageOS):
    1. Reboot to recovery (TWRP recovery for Mi 9 Lite)
    2. Wipe system & vendor
    3. Install required firmware
    4. Install LineageOS package
    5. Install [optional] Gapps package
    6. Format data (with yes) (only if you are coming from MIUI)
    7. Wipe data & dalvik & cache
    8. Reboot
Update (aka dirty flash) (if you have installed previous version from this thread):
    1. Reboot to recovery (TWRP recovery for Mi 9 Lite)
    2. Install LineageOS package (Gapps should be backed up and restored during flash)
    3. Install [optional] Gapps package (only if Gapps were not backed up and restored during previous step)
    4. Wipe dalvik & cache
    5. Reboot
    Important notes:
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.

If Im installing the linage os freshly from stock MIUI, I just need to wipe the system and then install the Linage os package? Awesome work, I am glad to see this phone still supported :)
