Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

Advanced reboot doesn't work in some instances.
Gcam support is slightly shaky.
Bixby Button can't currently be remapped and is non-functional.

It can see, connect and download from my network, which is 5Ghz. So the answer has to be yes. I don't know about the s-pen. I attempted to install SuperSU v2.82 zip through TWRP recovery and got "Successful" but it reported that it couldn't patch the boot image. Also I cannot actually see the SuperSU app when I start the phone. Am I doing something wrong?

So I tested this for a little over a day now using the 8.5.8 that's in the mega link, dated 8/19. I noticed two things:
- Text messages will mostly fail on send/receive if wifi is on, not sure if this is a ROM problem, a setting, or could be my network (I'm having issue with them with calls going straight to voicemail).
- A regression(?) involving the night temperature setting in LiveDisplay causes colors like yellow and blue to turn into a neon or florescent, being far brighter than anything else. Other ROMs I've tried like Corvus and Havoc (since 3.5?) have this fixed.
- clock and icons are cut off and require manual re-adjusting in settings

I will update if i find anything else.

I tried this. I had no problem sending and receiving text messages while wifi was turned on and connected. But if it's an intermittent problem then it might not show up sometimes.

Noob here and confirmed idiot. What is the advantage of installing Open Gapps over just installing a few critical apps in the form of .apk files? I'm not sure what path to take. Thanks for any advice.

hello, i got issue's with android car. If i connect the phone with the car android car crashes after setup. Has anyone else has this problem? I got it with all custom roms on android 10, on android 9 original and custom roms it works.
An Samsung with Stock Android 10 works with the car without any problems.

I ugraded my Samsung Galaxy S8 from version 8.5.7 to 8.5.9 which was added to the list of downloads on 28th August This seemed to go well but now neither my desktop (Win10) nor my laptop (Ubuntu) can see the phone if I connect by USB cable. Is there a setting on the phone that will allow it to communicate via USB cable? Thanks for any help.

I figured it out. The setting for USB usage is only available when the phone is actually connected with a USB cable, otherwise it cannot be seen. The control can be reached through Settings > Connected devices > USB > USB Preferences - but only if the phone is connected. This must have confused a lot of people.

On my S8 SELinux is "Deactivated". And until now I found no way to enable it.
Is there anybody can help?

I installed a banking app for german "sparkasse" and the app will not start. I get the message that the device is not save and may be rooted ... I hope the SELinux will help?!

Hello,
installed yesterday on Galaxy Note 8, greatlte.
Really great job, this is really stable ROM, congrats!
The only thing that is not working is screen mirroring, when i tap on it, it starts searching for the device, in my case a samsung TV on the same network, and after several minutes no devices are found, tried also with another smartphone with original software and it was able to found the TV.
Excluded this i think it is really a great
