Its all good so far.. nothings wrong.. all smooth too.. i've set the window and transition animation scale to 0.0x and duration to 0.5x
and it runs like butter now..
other than that.. the network is kinda weak.. plus i can't connect my hesvitband via Bluetooth anyhow..

haven't tested other devices on Bluetooth yet though)

tested it.. all works.. but for some reason.. i can't connect the band

:laugh: just did a reflash (wiped all except internal storage) and i managed to get the Bluetooth to work ?:fingers-crossed:

Hey guys!
I found a bug with the ringtones :
When i set up a new one after some time the ringtone file become useless like the device can`t read it, so i have to add it another time over and over again...
So i have a question where is the ringtones folder so i can delete the f`ked up files ?

bug na câmera, apos tirar a foto não tem como visualizar arrastando para o lado. e também foco dela não esta funcionando bem, pois não faz leitura do código de barras de boletos.
bug in the camera, after taking the photo has no way to view by dragging to the side. and also focus on it is not working well as it does not read the ticket bar code.

When i set up a new one after some time the ringtone file become useless like the device can`t read it, so i have to add it another time over and over again...
So i have a question where is the ringtones folder so i can delete the f`ked up files ?

A few years ago I made this folder structures on my SD card:
/system/media/audio/ringtones
/system/media/audio/notification
/system/media/audio/alarms
Every time when I try a new ROM my favorite tones are on the list.
The ROM ring/notif./alarm tones can find in the same folder structures on the root.
Also, I never have the same problem with a ringtone. Maybe Sd card accessing problem? Try to put your ringtone in internal storage, same folder structure.

I think the camera and gallery are a bit buggy.
I'm using "Open Camera" and "QuickPic" without a problem. If you want, try it.

Wrong! Its not just for j510fn. I had it installed on my j500f.
Its just he has a j500h which is probably the most incompatible j5 out there.

that's because you do not have the correct recovery installed. At least that's what I presume

What error message? Recovery used (or TWRP version used)? J500H user here and it just works fine (and I'm using this ROM as a daily driver).

Glitch found and other bug

Hello,

I'm using SAMSUNG j500FN (2015), Ressurection Remix ROM v.6.0 Oreo ANDROID.

In previous version of Ressurection Remix ROM v.5.8.4 & v.5.8.5 Nougat Android and actually in RR oreo latest version ROM 06/24/18, I have found a glitch in lockscreen under pattern/PIN/Caracters screen "emergency", in emergency screen, i can pull down the quick setting, but in "setting RR" i have already disable the "no quick setting in lockscreen", indeed in boot in PIN secure SIM card screen under " emergency", only it's work in time/date screen. So if i can pull down the quick setting i can disable wifi or enable airplane mode or other in quick setting.

Another bug is when i enable "launch app music when headset is connected" in RR-OS setting" , when i plug in the headset it's reboot the phone and when i no remove/plug out the headset then the boot still boot, but if i plug out the headset the bootanimation is finnish.

In lockscren PIN code/pattern and in lock SIM card screen , i can see the statusbar why ? because in RR nougat v.5.8.4 i no see this

in emergency screen, i can pull down the Quick setting too but i have already disable in RR-OS setting.

Another bug is when i enable "launch app music when headset is connected" in RR-OS setting" , when i plug in the headset it's reboot the phone and when i no remove/plug out the headset then the boot still boot, but if i plug out the headset the bootanimation is finnish.

I don`t know about your problems but i had the same problem with the jack ... so i made a full wipe /factory reset, dalvik , cash, data, system/, than installed the rom and afterwards the problem with the jack was gone.

BTW do you guys meet the high battery consumption ?!
I charge my phone to like 90% and leave it like that .. than when i wake up .. about 10 hours later it is at 30-40% with all apps closed.

Hi,

Regarding your battery problem, I found that if I do not exit from apps with "back" button, I will get a lot of wakelocks from ActivityManagerSleep ( in a period of 12 hrs., from 2 till 7 hrs! depending on how many apps I let in background). In abt. 10 hrs, hitting "back" button till the app exits, I get only 7 min of wakelocks.
